    Thank God and goodness for women like you! Selfless and sharing!! I simply don't know what I would do without you!!! Because of you, I just finished my first chunky blanket in chenille. I am almost finished with my first Jumbo chenille blanket. Plush chenille, in the cross stitch is next.....I'm so excited, I can hardly stand it!!!

    Love your videos and Thank You so much for posting this video many years ago my mother in law use to make these blankets using regular yarn and knitting needles she never gave me the pattern for making these blankets and you have made it much easier with the chenille and hand knitting them. I will be making some myself now.

    The way you show how to knit/pearl is very clear, in fact, I have made my own type of pattern that’s kind of like some diagonal pearled lines. I’ve really got the hang of it now! :)

    Also - the color you featured here is no longer listed in the 35 colors on your site. Silver Grey looks close but I prefer the hint of purple.

    I truly think, there should be a warning label included on your skeins of Jumbo chenille: WARNING: May be addictive!
    (Just me), I find it very difficult, not to be working on some sort of blanket!

    So to solve the issue with skipping the first stitch in a 3x3 basket weave…instead of 16 stitches, what if we work with 17? Then always skip stitch 1 and always knit the last stitch. It means the blanket will have a border on each side of the pattern instead of just the threes but I think I’d prefer a nice clean edge rather than a wonky side. Is my logic right here or will that not work?

    Hiii😍Im knitting this and I didnt understand, that every 3rows I should knite vice versa??I mean the first 3row rows I knite purl stich,and the second 3rows will be stich and purl?

      Please, watch a video again. You can stop it, rewind it back to understand how to knit. Words would not explain it better than the video

    I love this!! But I don’t understand y on the left side u twisted the pearl stitch but on the left side u didn’t. Now the left side doesn’t have the braid on the edge like the right side. Thx!!

      Just chain 17. That way you can KNIT the last stitch of each row and skip the first stitch of the next row. This leaves you with 15 stitches to work the 5 sets of 3 and 3. Hope that makes sense.

    Love your videos at what point in the blanket after you’ve started twisting the left stitch do you not twist it

      On the left side you twisted the loop before making the next stitch. Do you do this on all left sided stitches or just certain ones

    Larissa, I would like to make this blanket in a 35 x 50 size. Could you please tell me how many chain loops I need to start with for that size or how I can figure it out? Thank you!!

      Start with 24 stitches. It will be about 37 inches wide.

    My blanket had openings. What did I do wrong? My stitches didn't come out close like yours.

      Vera, you might try to make stitches smaller - this way the knitting will be tighter and will not have openings.

    I just realized on my normal chunky knit blankets i had been using the top loops instead of those middle loops. Whoops! Still turned out okay tho

      It really is not that expensive I'm just learning to hand knit by Becozi and before I found it I bought yarn from other places and the quality in chenille yarn does not compare to Becozi , Becozi is just a beautiful product hands down the best , seriously .

      I've not ordered any chunky chenille from this lady yet but I did look at chunky chenille at Wal-Mart just last night and I really wasn't all that impressed with what they had to offer the skeins were small and they weren't that much cheaper you can save a dollar or two a skein but how many extra skeins will you have to buy to complete this project?
