You're amazing Natasha. Your creativity knows no bounds. You're the only journal creator that I could never possibly predict what your next offering will be.
Calm down xD You know what? You should watch videos of other crafters. Not only junk journalist (even though it is full of mixed media) and those who use paper and fabric. You could also use techniques from modelmaking, tabletop/terrain crafting, miniature painting, Junk crafting etc. Not sure If those are the correct words, english is not my first language and i am not sure how certain topics translate xD
My husband says, "I would not be able to pick Natasha out of a crowd of two, but I sure would recognize her voice"😂 Weekend mornings with Treasure Books videos. A treasure indeed ❤
I just finished part 1 and successfully completed both covers. I LOVED this design and had to work up to it lol. 30 The instructions were so awesome that except for obvious drying times, I breezed right through it. Onward to Coptic stitching! Thank you SO much for your generosity and brilliant clear teaching style. Thou art queen!
You are a creative genius Natasa and also an excellent teacher to boot! One of my absolute favorite RUclips channels to watch! Thanks so much for sharing your talents so generously!
This is perfect timing! Life has been tough lately. Finally, have a day of peace and fun in my craft room. I'm doing this!! Even though there are so many of your fabulous ideas I still want to do, I LOVE THIS!! I LOVE YOU!! THANK YOU for all the hard work you do for us and share with us!! I love that you share such detail in your instructions, like the warping that can happen. I'm just calmed and inspired by you! ❤
Another amazing project…🎉 thanks so much. You explain everything so well. And I love the paper lining…it goes so well with the front covers. Can’t wait till next week!!! ❤❤❤
22:02 There seems to me to be an image on your "mixing" palette. Like an elfin creature (may be a hedge hog?) holding something in its arms. Or with arms folded. My mind...Love this whole process. Lots of fun.
Natasha, don't you know everything is better with gold. Lol. I really love all of your work. Thank you for your really well done and detailed tutorials. They are the best I've seen on u tube. 🥰🥰
You are just amazing Natasha. I learn so much from you. Thank you with all my heart for all of it. This is another wonderful idea. Thanks from your neighbour in Wheelers Hill. Judy 😘😘🙏🙏
I will start with this cover tmorrow and look forward to your next video. Thank you very much for this beautiful project, dear Natasa. I send greetings from Germany, Gerlinde
Thank you so much for all of your tutorials! You are an excellent teacher, but I especially love how you present your videos by showing the finished product first! I have saved so many of your videos, and love learning all these beautiful techniques for journal making, book making and even card and tag making. Lovely!!
Another organic work of art! I really like the way the tissue paper make a ‘connective tissue’ look over the hot glue dots! Also the gold touches make all the difference. (I heard Banjo!:) Can’t wait for the Coptic stitch binding! 👍❤️
You are so creative! When I saw the thumbnail, I thought, "she's done it again." It's so cool. I learn so much from you. I love your videos...and your book. It's quite wonderful.
This video reminds me of my childhood ❤because I have this beloved cousin who always teaches me lots of things and this technique is one of those things she taught me ❤. I love the paper you used inside the covers. I’m anxious about the next video of the binding 😍Thank you so much for this wonderful opportunity to make my memories come out and make me happy ❤
This is beautiful and so very creative! There seems to be no limit to your creative talents. This cover, actually the whole journal, is amazing! The paper you chose for your inside covers were perfect! They are beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing with all of us and inspiring us! YOU are such a treasure!!!
I did this on a sketchbook cover to create my book of shadows (learning witchcraft through the book of shadows, it’s basically gonna be a diary of my research and learning, full of all the things I’m gravitated towards😊 I swapped the goldy/silvery paint for a copper acrylic paint and used the scourer on the top of a sponge to apply, the effect was beautiful!! I’ve then gone in and used small bits of craft moss and some amethyst crystal chips too just placed sparingly for a really cool effect. I wouldn’t have been able to make this without your video as I’m the least crafty/artsy person, but I’m trying my hand at new things!! Thanks for a fantastic video. I don’t usually comment on videos but I just had to say thank you for such an amazing video, and perfect explanations!❤️
Love the demo! I know since I forget a lot, I will probably draw a line lightly in pencil so that I remember to leave a margin for stitches. Thank you for making this tutorial.
Hi Natasa! You never cease to amaze!!! This journal cover is absolutely GORGEOUS! - color & texture, as well as the card stock & pages. As always I’ll look forward to your next video- Coptic binding 😊. Thank you and my very best to you 💞

This is absolutely gorgeous, Natasa! You are my favorite creative artist, & I watch your videos more than any others. I now have quite a list of projects to make! Thank you so much for sharing your amazing talent wih us. 😊❤
Love the ideas! Last night as I was preparing for today, I remembered I would be treated to a Natasa video, and I got all excited! Love my Sundays with Natasa. ❤
So fun! I used a similar technique to make a faux "spell book" for Halloween several years ago. I used paper towel and separated the ply's. I never thought of using tissue paper though! Great idea! Also looking forward to part 2 and seeing how you do this stitch!
In high school, about a million years ago, we used to do designs like this with Elmer’s glue over brightly colored magazine pages collage. When it was thoroughly dry, we would take off the unprotected magazine page with nail polish remover. It left cool multicolored, squiggly designs.
Beautiful and creative beyond words. I AM so inspired Natasha. I've done a golden koy with hot glue and acrylic paint on canvas for my husband but after watching this tutorial I would really like to try the technique using an old book that I'm repurposing. I'm extremely new to journal making, actually using this old book will be my first. Thank you for sharing your beautiful gift of creating.
I've tried this before long ago, but at that time, I was only making cards, and it was more texture than I was interested in. I'd forgotten about the technique. Now I can see how it could be useful with my current projects. Wow, so awesome!!
I love this, you're so amazing. Where do you get all your ideas? I'm so happy I found your channel a couple years ago. Your channel is the only one I watch anymore. ❤
This will be my first project with you! I am so excited, have to get some supplies. I have the cardboard, tissue paper and glue gun, just need to make a run to town for paints💕
This is exactly what I needed as another option for an ongoing project. Thank you for another fabulous tutorial. I love your black & gold projects too.
Incredible! ❤ I absolutely love this glorious texture, and the black/brown with gold combo is 🔥. Your videos are so inspiring. As you were demonstrating this technique with hot glue, I thought of lots of other things to try glued underneath tissue to create different looks. Looking forward to learning Coptic stitch binding.
Thank you Natasha for sharing your creative genius, as your work is always an inspiration, and your tutorials offer the rest of us an opportunity to create as well. Love this technique of texturing with hot glue. perfect.
OMG I am making a witchy journal and this is exactly what I had in my head for the cover, but I didn't know how to do it. I already have most of that stuff except the specific paint colors.
You're amazing Natasha. Your creativity knows no bounds. You're the only journal creator that I could never possibly predict what your next offering will be.
Thank you so much for your kind words!

👍❤️
You really need something on top of the glue, otherwise it would look really plasticy and fake
