@Meep Except there is no “character development”. She did nothing to earn the power of finality she just earned it. There’s also a huge plot hole in the story writing too. Finality is the absolute strongest honkai form and wields all honkai energy. Kiana almost DIED from having 2 cores and honkai energy overload. There was no proof of her having developed more resistance against honkai itself. And there would have to be surgeries performed on Kiana for that to happen it can’t happen overtime. she earned the power of finality because there was no other way to beat Kevin. That’s where the poor story writing comes in because not even the entire trio could beat him. They had to use the power of Deus Ex Machina all the humans, herrschers and captians from all the universes combined to beat him simply because his defence against their new power ups was too strong and practically immune to them at that point. HoF would have NO way to beat him at that time. That’s the only reason there is no character development. The sentimental value at the end would’ve been the exact same if she stayed HoF because she said herself “I have no interest in this deity stuff” meaning she doesn’t CARE for power nor gaining anything from it.

So in all of the loops, there was no Ellie so none of the Herrschers were good (with some exceptions), but then when she does appear, she somehow makes it possible for Herrschers to go back to their human origins, hence her name, so in the current era, Herrscher of the End Kiana can regain control and stop Honkai. None of this is canon but it makes sense to me at least 💀💀
I love that when Mei as transforming into HoO, she was passing through each Flamechasers as Elysia offers a prayer. It's centered around Mei truly inheriting the Flamchasers' will. Meanwhile, when Kiana was transforming into HoF, she's instead passing through places, where she faced her biggest enemies. Doll's theater, where she finally accepted her identity, and Otto's church, where she faced her origin. It serves as a way to describe what both of them are missing. Mei knows her origin and herself, but she didn't inherit anything from anyone. Meanwhile, Kiana inherited the Kaslana's oath yet she didn't know her true origin. Just the same, Bronya herself lacked both. Bronya didn't knew her origin, she didn't know what happend to her parents, and neither did she inherited anything. But later on, she inherited the Gem of Reason and Welt's will, then she faced Misteln and found her origin. Thus, during the final battle, each one of them are "complete" they understand themselves and holds something they inherited from others.
I think is cooler to have an anime transformation than just a normal animation, but its still really cool. Its just.... I miss the old days when mihoyo (hoyoveres) still uses anime animatios for the herrschers transformation😔

HoFlame is still peak in my books aswell. The magical girl aesthetic really isn't doing it for me. No knock on the story or anything. Just a preference on outfit and the feels HoFlame gave me.
I would prefer her having a full back skirt rather just on one of her hips, i also think that she should have more black and dark purple tbh, I love the white and we know that white is Kiana's primary colors, but wouldn't change be good to show just how long your character has gone through? I also think the short are TOO short, it's like shes wearing a panties, she should get longer ones.

Oh I hundred percent agree. There is no beating Kiana as the MC in any Hoyo game. Also, by the gods they really need to do traveler backstories more often so we could try to actually care about them. Heck HSR system is still better because unlike Genshin it gave them(the MC) permanent partners(learning from HI3) in the astral express crew. So we can see them forge connections with March, Dan Heng, Himeko, Welt and Pom-Pom as the story progresses. Unlike traveller who only has Paimon who is quite annoying most of the time taking traveler’s place in talking. Also I love HSR gives you a better chance of showing your personality through stelle and Caelus because of the amazing dialogue options. For E.g:- You can totally make Stelle(or Caelus) a Jing Yuan simp in the Luofu quest(that’s what I did too). This automatically makes Stelle/Caelus better than Lumine/Aether because instead of just fanservice scenes where you are the bland harem protagonist, we get actual dialogue options that are realistic. I feel like aether and Lumine’s personalities only come out in the dainsleif quests when their sibling is concerned. Otherwise they feel hella bland, because pretty much everyone automatically loves them. I hate that harem protag mentality. Same is not the case with HSR. You have your MC moments but people don’t immediately go you are the best & the most important person to me. Best example is again Jing Yuan. He treats us well but not at like his world revolves around us even though we can act as if our world revolves around him. Because he is hot leader who is kind to us. Heck Yukong initially treats us like shit. We even comment on it, like no wonder she is just a Helmmaster while Jing Yuan is The General. Which is such a flavour text because ofcourse you would hate someone treating you like a criminal when you did nothing. Yukong’s behaviour also makes sense because we are sus because of Kafka. While Jing Yuan’s behaviour also makes sense, he doesn’t think we have a hand in it, but he is cautious. Still he treats kindly like any wise established leader would but critically he doesn’t give us any info we shouldn’t have. This all is so well written. That’s how strangers will treat you not like traveler where everyone is basically willing to tell you everything unless they are a villain because of god you are the most trustworthy person even though I have know you for 5 secs.” Than Dan Heng comes around and the MC is fairly sidelined. Because ofcourse they are. This is Dan Heng and Jing Yuan’s story. Their connection, their past. It would be so weird and unrealistic if JY paid more attention to us over Dan Heng. But if this Genshin, it’s highly likely he absolutely would. Anyways the wall of text wasn’t needed but I am frustrated with Genshin, because it the game I invested most time into, yet these I feel the least connection to it.
The Cocoon is an unknown number of dimensions above Earth and the Real Number Space, but the fact that it just broke into Earth's dimension like a window is funny to me
Herrscher of Flamescion is when Kiana has grown up and discovered herself and what is most important to her. Herrscher of Finality is when Kiana has matured and realized what it means to sacrifice for the beauty of the world.
Dude, this girl spawned with no-context in the free gacha cards they give to us. i mean... Right now i feel like the luckiest guy in this whole planet 🌎
1. When Kiana enters the Theater of Domination, she saw Himeko's sword representing how Kiana find out Himeko died. 2. Kiana walks forward but the strings blocked her way. However, she activated her flaming body and pushed forward represents Kiana doesn't give sh** to HoDomi. 3. The dead HoDomi puppets lying around represents huge numbers of times these things are getting f**ked up but Kiana gets an MVP. 4. Kiana leaves her blade right beside Himeko's showing Kiana's ultimate achievement becoming HoFinal but still need to achieve what Himeko wants for Kiana herself. 5. When Kiana enters the broken church, she found Otto on his knees represents she and Dudu/Real Kiana defeated him. 6. Otto's body fades away while small plane flies by Kiana and passes by the statue of Kallen and then it glows and disappears represents Otto yearning to get his wife back and his defeat results in ending his life but able to get Kallen back alive by sacrificing himself. 7. The final place that Kiana entered is where Mei became HoO. Ely's manta ray and 13 shooting stars, those are the things that Mei witness. This probably must be the last straw that Ely made for Kiana to achieve the authority of Finality. 8. Although Mei and Bronya help Kiana gain Finality authority, there are 5 extra hands appeared. Probably there are the rest of the flamechasers helping Kiana. Eden, Aponia, Vil-V, Su and probably Ely herself.
In part 5 and 6 In the Church all statue are people connected to Otto regardless who they are victim’s , creation’s , people who he himself calls them a friend even though they don’t think so and Kellen but their statues goes up except Otto who stays down and despair, after that Kellen despair as well.

On the HoV wiki page is written assimilated as status... At least not dead. Also if she have appeared together with Wendy and Ana, does that mean that assimilated also means that we'll never se her again... But we really need her back. I still hope that we would find her somewhere in kiana's consciousness space. Mihoyo must stop their habit of killing at least for playable characters. We already had one and no one was happy about it. Ok that one was needed to push the plot forward but why do we need another one? Our Queen still have supporters. Maybe Mihoyo will return her like Senti once was returned if she will get more supporters so they could make money for her new banner.
Honestly, I liked this transformation. It wasnt "epic" but rather sad as it should have been. Kiana know she's the only person who csn become the HoTE and that also means she won't be able to stay on Earth or with others, but still choose to do it.
This is the Herrscher of Finality, also known as the Herrscher of the End. This Herrscher is the manifestation of the Cocoon of Finality, the source of all honkai. Kiana becoming the Herrscher of Finality means that now she can stop the honkai from invading Earth.
people can become different herrschers based on the core/authorities that they receive in this example, Kiana was originally the Void herrscher because Sirin (her past self wherein she originated from the desire for love) had primarily obtained the power of the void core, even if she had a ton of other cores at one point. Kiana later becomes HOF as the gem of haste from himeko accepts Kiana as its new wielder, and instead of being only the herrscher of flame like in the previous era, she’s now the Herrscher of Flamescion, with void powers but primarily using her flamescion powers. Now, Kiana is able to become the Herrscher of Finality because Mei’s Herrscher of Origin prowess can connect Kiana to the HOFi authority/power, so they don’t need to overload Kiana with all the herrscher cores like they originally planned.

I mean color wise i think this is her best outfit ever. but to me it won't suit her. to me herrscher of flamescion was the best and most fitting outfit for her. yeah I get it with "people change if they progress" but I don't know. To me she she is not kiana anymore (but with most now also bronya , how she "progressed". I think it's good that honkai comes to an end soon

Why was theresa and the rest of the crew in space after her promotion, why the moon suddenly dragged her into a dream of some sort, why memory otto (why is it otto to begin with?) guide her to unlock her beast power all of the sudden, how is kiana father still alive despite literally gotten stabbed by that one herscherr, why are there so many random spaces and how do the main cast get in and out so conveniently, how did kevin get there after theresa's dream/being guided again by stigmata kevin (how did she even met him in that space). But yeah, I haven't played ch 34 yet but I'm sure there will be a lot of convenient plot progression to power up characters instead of doing them from the previous chapters. Like what, they should've been on the moon to get these hidden power ups? I thought it was incredibly rare for someone to be able to control herrscher power once in every 100 or 500 years without the divine key and honkai 3rd making it seems like it's hella easy and normal to just keep powering up like this with other herscher powers with no consequences.

Herrscher of Flamescion is when Kiana has grown up and discovered herself and what is most important to her.
Herrscher of Finality is when Kiana has matured and realized what it means to sacrifice for the beauty of the world.
I just wish that the real Kiana (Durandal) had a key factor in the game. We always thot that she’s gonna be HoE but nothing happened.

I thought it would be more flamboyant
1. When Kiana enters the Theater of Domination, she saw Himeko's sword representing how Kiana find out Himeko died.
2. Kiana walks forward but the strings blocked her way. However, she activated her flaming body and pushed forward represents Kiana doesn't give sh** to HoDomi.
3. The dead HoDomi puppets lying around represents huge numbers of times these things are getting f**ked up but Kiana gets an MVP.
4. Kiana leaves her blade right beside Himeko's showing Kiana's ultimate achievement becoming HoFinal but still need to achieve what Himeko wants for Kiana herself.
5. When Kiana enters the broken church, she found Otto on his knees represents she and Dudu/Real Kiana defeated him.
6. Otto's body fades away while small plane flies by Kiana and passes by the statue of Kallen and then it glows and disappears represents Otto yearning to get his wife back and his defeat results in ending his life but able to get Kallen back alive by sacrificing himself.
7. The final place that Kiana entered is where Mei became HoO. Ely's manta ray and 13 shooting stars, those are the things that Mei witness. This probably must be the last straw that Ely made for Kiana to achieve the authority of Finality.
8. Although Mei and Bronya help Kiana gain Finality authority, there are 5 extra hands appeared. Probably there are the rest of the flamechasers helping Kiana. Eden, Aponia, Vil-V, Su and probably Ely herself.

In the Church all statue are people connected to Otto regardless who they are victim’s , creation’s , people who he himself calls them a friend even though they don’t think so and Kellen but their statues goes up except Otto who stays down and despair, after that Kellen despair as well.

On the HoV wiki page is written assimilated as status... At least not dead. Also if she have appeared together with Wendy and Ana, does that mean that assimilated also means that we'll never se her again...
But we really need her back. I still hope that we would find her somewhere in kiana's consciousness space.
Mihoyo must stop their habit of killing at least for playable characters. We already had one and no one was happy about it. Ok that one was needed to push the plot forward but why do we need another one? Our Queen still have supporters. Maybe Mihoyo will return her like Senti once was returned if she will get more supporters so they could make money for her new banner.
Honestly, I liked this transformation.
It wasnt "epic" but rather sad as it should have been.

I dont understand, she is Herscher of void and now another herscher? Can anyone explain? I dont mind spoiler since I dont play honkai.
This is the Herrscher of Finality, also known as the Herrscher of the End.
This Herrscher is the manifestation of the Cocoon of Finality, the source of all honkai. Kiana becoming the Herrscher of Finality means that now she can stop the honkai from invading Earth.
people can become different herrschers based on the core/authorities that they receive
in this example, Kiana was originally the Void herrscher because Sirin (her past self wherein she originated from the desire for love) had primarily obtained the power of the void core, even if she had a ton of other cores at one point.
Kiana later becomes HOF as the gem of haste from himeko accepts Kiana as its new wielder, and instead of being only the herrscher of flame like in the previous era, she’s now the Herrscher of Flamescion, with void powers but primarily using her flamescion powers.
Now, Kiana is able to become the Herrscher of Finality because Mei’s Herrscher of Origin prowess can connect Kiana to the HOFi authority/power, so they don’t need to overload Kiana with all the herrscher cores like they originally planned.

it's so sad. I mean color wise i think this is her best outfit ever. but to me it won't suit her. to me herrscher of flamescion was the best and most fitting outfit for her. yeah I get it with "people change if they progress" but I don't know. To me she she is not kiana anymore (but with most now also bronya , how she "progressed".
I think it's good that honkai comes to an end soon

Why was theresa and the rest of the crew in space after her promotion, why the moon suddenly dragged her into a dream of some sort, why memory otto (why is it otto to begin with?) guide her to unlock her beast power all of the sudden, how is kiana father still alive despite literally gotten stabbed by that one herscherr, why are there so many random spaces and how do the main cast get in and out so conveniently, how did kevin get there after theresa's dream/being guided again by stigmata kevin (how did she even met him in that space). But yeah, I haven't played ch 34 yet but I'm sure there will be a lot of convenient plot progression to power up characters instead of doing them from the previous chapters. Like what, they should've been on the moon to get these hidden power ups? I thought it was incredibly rare for someone to be able to control herrscher power once in every 100 or 500 years without the divine key and honkai 3rd making it seems like it's hella easy and normal to just keep powering up like this with other herscher powers with no consequences.

@@Qopa a combination of plot and a bit of armor but not much. Most of this arc is using a setup from things that happened long ago and expanding on them a lot of the things u mentioned were important and talked just briefly mostly one liners
