Technically speaking, Otto became a Herrscher as a part of his deal with WOH, as the Binding power was necessary to carry out his plan. Herrscher of the Rimestar is counted separately from Ice/Stars, which makes the whole countdown end at a 12th Corruption destroyed, so we're basically in the endgame now.

This reminds me of how far we Captains have come after these several years. It’s gonna be sad when we reach the final chapter and reach the end of Honkai.
For Gem of Serenity to be relevant, Veliona and Seele will have to manifest it in themselves to take it out of Kiana. Problem is Kiana has been existing with Gem of Serenity in her system for a good while. We are not sure if removal of the Gem has any consequences for Kiana, although from experience (HoT), it is usually less of a burden on Kiana. So actually despite us knowing that HoFlamescion has Void as its base, borrowing power from Flame, Reason and Sentience, I have a feeling it is actually still power boosted by Gem of Serenity. Gem of Serenity is actually for HoDeath. Which is skipped for the time being. And it’s power is not fully utilised by Kiana herself, after HoV relinquished all of her power to Kiana.

Using the power of Imaginary Tree (in this case he had Binding Powers), plus being enslaved by the Will Of Honkai (needed Kiana and Dudu to free him from Will Of Honkai long enough to interact with the Tree). We didn't rip his chest open to see if there was a Herrscher Core, but tbh the way it happened makes it seem no different from any other Herrscher. You get powers,linked to the imaginary tree,imprinted by Will of Honkai and then transform. Those steps seem to still apply here, that's why we consider Otto to be Binding.

I think Otto counts as the HoB because right after his arc we moved to HoC. Human Ego probably does not count.

@Gabriel Freeze Herrscher of Dominance still needed the negative emotion of all 1000 person to be it's host. Only in Theaters of Domination that they are killable because they have a physical body in there.

Its just a logical thing , in most anime/games , when characters get power up , the look change , and so their hair get longer , or the color change , the power have some side effect

Anyone else other than me that wonders why Otto counts as one ? I'm confused on this since I thought that Otto used the power of the Imaginary Tree to get that form and not a Herrscher core.
Using the power of Imaginary Tree (in this case he had Binding Powers), plus being enslaved by the Will Of Honkai (needed Kiana and Dudu to free him from Will Of Honkai long enough to interact with the Tree).
We didn't rip his chest open to see if there was a Herrscher Core, but tbh the way it happened makes it seem no different from any other Herrscher. You get powers,linked to the imaginary tree,imprinted by Will of Honkai and then transform. Those steps seem to still apply here, that's why we consider Otto to be Binding.
