Thank you so much for this great video, Jim! 🙏❤️😊 I agree with you on everything. In my experience, it is a physical activity and correct breathing that can significantly reduce anxiety. I also use distraction, music, film and humor to cope 🙌 Talk therapy is ineffective for me because I had multiple brain injuries. I think some of us also deal with another layer of anxiety: I call it existential and it has to do with what is going on with the world because we are not indifferent. To me, meditation (when done correctly) equals a state of bliss. 💫 Have a beautiful day Everyone! 😊
Even listening to your voice can reduce stress because you have mastered the speech skill. In addition, all of these techniques have indeed proven to be effective. Reminding myself that they work, it has improved my mental state by assuring my mind that anxiety and stress can be "cured" and therefore this depressing state is not with me forever.
