Hi there! There are a number of things that can improve your chances. We have another video coming out on March 27 that talks specifically about this topic. My suggestion is to do your research and align your proposal with the interest and guidelines of the potential grantor. I will often even pick up the phone and give them a call and ask if they have any advice before I submit. I hope this helps and be sure to stay tuned for that video :-)
Grant opportunities really depend on where you’re located and what your mission is. I highly recommend checking out some grant research programs. Even the free ones can help get you started ☺️
It is true, grantors like to see nonprofits with some experience behind them. Have you tried using a program like Instramentl to research different grant opportunities?
