@@sxsoutcast7651 Dude, you’re doing awesome! it takes nuts to take on building anything custom. Most of us know just enough about something to be dangerous, but that’s the fun f doing anything DIY. Most of all we learn what not to do or find a better way to do it. It may come after the fact, but hey, gotta learn somehow
@@kiltnoffroad If I have taught anyone anything, DONT DO WHAT I DO. LOL. It's a ton of work. I've done the clutch, the tranny seal, the doors, the cage, the air filter mod and winch rope.

Really? Our power is limited and we shouldn't have this problem at all. Maybe 35's are too much. I like the 35's on my villain but the belt is taking a beating. How many miles on the belts?
@@sxsoutcast7651 my machine only has 600 miles and we have been through 3 belts. This last trip belts had 0 miles went to wv and put a total of 200 miles and belts are gone again. I think they need to add clutch weights to there clutch kits so the clutch locks up sooner. The slow drag in is was burning the belt. I’m going to play with the weights tomorrow in mine
Nah, I like the wheel base, the comfort and I like things being a challenge. The belt was my fault for trying an aftermarket belt that really didn't fit and was too skinny. I got the proper clutch now and I'm all set.
@@brianverson3955 I've installed it but haven't been out yet. I'm sure it'll be better than the trail kit which I have too. Another guy I follow (Go fast automotive) put the rock clutch in and said he's still going through belts. That's bothersome.

You have to admit, the machines all did a great job on that trail, despite it being purposefully paved with big boulders.
Lol. Lots of boulders. It was quite the trails on the Trip. I'm planning another trip to eastern Kentucky soon.

Gates. I'll never use it again.
How well does the stock belt hold up ? I just purchased the Rock and Trail clutch kit from MSC $350 for that kit is ridiculous. I just hope it works .
