Nice colourful costumes and it looked like a hot day. Imagine wearing them for many hours in the heat. Great footage of the bright red cliffs, none of which are safe now.

It was a warm day but not hot so was comfortable. The costumes were varied & colourful & there were loads of food stalls with some great meals. I saw the cliff falling & quickly started to film it but I only managed to capture the dust cloud it caused. That beach has been closed off for a while now as its so unstable. 😊😊

I once attended what was then called the Sidmouth International Folk Festival, organised at that time by the English Folk Dance and Song Society (EFDSS). Having seen what todays festival is like I doubt if I'll ever go to this Sidmouth event ever again.

Oh. Thats A shame. We enjoyed it but mainly because of all the different food stalls there. Not really into the Folk music side of things but found it interesting to film.

Use to find arrival of so many visitors a nightmare living in Sidmouth.People parked in front of our garage so we could'nt get car ou t whole wknd, lot of stealing from shops and drunken louts in streets. All for Festivals but needs policing these days 😮

Yeah it must be quite an ordeal dealing with all the extra visitors. We've only visited the festival in the day & never saw any trouble just happy people enjoying themselves but night time would be different.
