I feel the police also have their share in this issue.
You simply can't keep a divider for a distance of 10m in the middle of a road and expect people to obey it.
In fact this particular divider doesn't serve its purpose. It is just an obstruction for the traffic.
Instead they should continue the divider upto the signal. In this way a camera placed to monitor signal violators can catch those who violate dividers also.
In a place where people take it easy to break even a traffic signal, you can't expect them to obey a divider kept inan unplanned manner.
That said I don't support the wrong doing. I'm just trying to find a solution to the problem from my experience of seeing countries with better traffic management.
