Andrew is a man that speaks truth and he emphasizes focusing on the moment instead of worrying about what comes next. It’s inspirational to think that a mindset of constant thinking and movement can yield positive results.
the insight that students will sense the creativity and love and newness and enthusiasm of their professor\teacher\guide as the teacher plays with their vision of the material with their student(s) is the thrill of teaching and learning -- that moment -- when we all seek what is sought together...
Having a system is super important 👌🏼Always growing. I swear these two always put out the best content. Cheers Lex and Dr. Huberman👌🏼Some of my favourite podcasts.
I love this stuff and these guys. Hilariously random discussion about dating apps in a productivity session. Lex's "it's disturbing how little info is provided in apps" had me laughing out loud and rewatching it. There's so much magic and life and knowledge in these discussions. Epic.
The root of productivity is *to produce.* In other words: creating output. To become more productive and improve output, both in quantity *and* quality... We need to refine our filter around what we consume, so we can better focus. Better filter = better focus. *Better input = better output.*

That was warm and delightful to listen to. I am a man and I enjoy when a man breaks down to training with emotion in the things they say. Si? My empathy bleeding out loud. 😎
That’s rather natalist. Everyone has struggles, theirs are just different…and looking from these comments, envied and not as socially sanctioned as the typical 2.5 kids and a picket fence. 😂
The problem with Andrew and these highly productive gurus is often times these guys are either lying or are single. It’s easy to be productive when no one relies on you intimately and you are alone when you get home and have less responsibilities to no one but yourself. Personally I am trying to work to getting into a relationship and I know I will be sacrificing my time
Why would those people not be productive? I think you’re only looking at it through a partial lens. You can still be productive if your focus is family and relationships
They live in a individual fairytale separate from the collectives they are apart of. It’s honorable for them, very dishonorable for what they willingly sacrifice for others.
He's not even in this category of people you speak of. You're thinking of people like productivity channels like Ali Abdaal or Matt D'Avella. I don't believe either is single nor lying either.
I don't understand the point of what he was saying at the end about each birthday he wants to create something more simple, but harder to create. Can anyone clarify?
The passion he has shows through his work . I'm not a scientist but I am a musician and I too am very fascinated with what is happening the mind when music is being interpreted, learned , taught , RE learned , The list goes on . Keep up the great work guys 🤙😉
Thats such a coincidence, I sent you a possible study about music and the brain 2 days ago, Its from my Cognitive PC Solutions account. I have some interesting techniques for a brain study.
Love the podcast but most of this clip is most certainly not talking about his secret to being productive. Much better videos out there of him explaining it and not him and Lex blowing smoke up one anothers arse lol!

There is no truth only more accurate descriptions of stuff and happenings ;)
I doubt he constantly thinks. I think Andrew deliberately makes time to deliberately not think as well. Constant thinking is not a positive thing

I'm so grateful for Andrew. He is a great example.
No input, No output. Great quote.
I wish he’d start sketching during explanations again. Miss those days.
Love those two. Thanks for this round 4.

Does anyone know if Dr. Huberman recommends or uses productivity apps? In particular, Notion.
Truly inspiring. Both of you. And what a great friendship.

He’s not single. Facts. He doesn’t talk about it, but he’s in a long term relationship.

When you think Andrew can't get any cooler, then he quotes Joe Strummer.

NINO vs GIGO very well said 👍🏾
Huberman listens to Rancid!! He’s probably got some punk tats under those sleeves
He is actually pretty much covered in ink underneath his shirt. He just never does interviews or videos with any of his tattoos showing, unfortunately
I don't understand the point of what he was saying at the end about each birthday he wants to create something more simple, but harder to create. Can anyone clarify?
The learning channel. Awesome.
