17:07 the music is Tower Of Dolls, which first appeared in the Sharp X68000 version of Akumajou Dracula, which got rereleased on the PS1 as Castlevania Chronicles. It was also remixed into the Clock Tower theme in Order of Ecclesia.
Hey, JC! Thanks for the upload. This was a lot of fun to watch :) Also, just so you don't think you're going crazy about running across one-tile gaps, you're probably thinking of the original SMB for the NES, which is confusing because in this they gave you a SMB sprite. Traditionally, in SMW, to run across a one tile gap you have to be holding the jump button as it makes Mario fall *slightly* slower. Although it looks like they messed around with the physics in this hack so I'm not sure if it would work the same. Anyway, thanks again for the content!
Just tried this out and holding jump works perfectly! Thanks so much for the info, I had no idea this was a mechanic in SMW. Will definitely keep this in mind if we ever return to Mario World in the future.
I have to say I am an absolute sucker for hearing other video game songs in the Super Mario World soundfont. That was one of my favorite things back when I was playing SMW hacks as a little kid. So hearing all of these Castlevania songs in the SMW soundfont just hits me perfectly in the nostalgia.
It's always nice to see you branching into other games (even if adjacent, lol). I'd recommend Super Mario World Mario's Expedition. It's basically a metroidvania with SMW graphics where Mario needs to learn how basic (and new) moves along the way. It gets a bit hard, but I'm sure you can handle it.
This was very cool! 14:00 In SMW, to consistently run over 1 tile gaps, you must hold the jump button as you run over them. Also, that was a sick shelljump!
in smw specifically in order to run over 1 tile gaps you need to be holding down the run AND jump button holding down the jump button slows marios fall speed slightly which is why that works smw is more technical with its movement than most people realise
Neat hack! Always love to see the kind of stuff that can be done with SMW. My only small critique of it is just, why use the Ninja Gaiden Lose Life/Game Over music instead of one of the CV tracks? Feels off hearing that amidst the renditions of CV music in the SMW soundfont lol xD
6:34 famous last words before disaster. At least the game is giving you fun content for us viewers to enjoy even if it unfortunately comes at your expense!
You can find this game here:

I've born in Brazil in 92 my father brought for me and older brother a SNES that come with my 1th game ever, SMW
Que top mano
Desculpa mas o ingreis é hilario 😂
E trabalhar? Nada?

Personally, I first got exposed to the track from the Seal of the Eclispe reveal trailer.
Gosh, it sounded so much like a HoD tune to me. Shows what I know!
Ninja gaiden song at the game over screen is crazy. What a beautiful job with the sound track ❤
@6:32 “it couldn’t hurt”
Immediately dies 😂 love your videos Jupiter. Keep up the good content

I love the little detail with the hearts on the top-left. As Mario, 1 heart. As Super Mario, 2 hearts. As Fire Mario, 3 hearts. That's just cute lol
This might be my first time watching Jupiter do a blind playthrough
And I like it quite a bit lol

That's a cool hack. I really liked the music they included. Especially the water way's music that you pointed out.

Thanks for playing!!
All things considered Jupiter went pretty well in this hack, GG.
I’ve really enjoyed your speed run videos. Would love to see you try some more of these types of rom hacks that are Castlevania related
Thanks so much for the generosity!! Someone recently recommended me a Metroidvania-inspired SMW hack, so there may be more in the future...
20:52 never thought I'll get rickrolled in a Mario romhack
Even better, it's Robo's Theme from Chrono Trigger remixed with Rickroll !!!
I can't believe they brought AoS music too. Cultured Mario hack, respect.
What can I say - I'm a HUGE Castlevania fan
I thought this was going to be about the hack called "not dracula's castle" I guess that one's a bit too hard LOL I couldn't get past the first screen

This look fun. Have you played Infernax? I feel like you'd love it
Infernax is awesome, really hope it gets a sequel
I love Infernax. Great, funny, game.
This was a sick mod hahaha

16:57 I'm pretty sure I've heard this song in Order of Ecclesia. Am I wrong?
Was that game over sound bite a remix of original Ninja Gaiden?
You're hilarious and the only streamer I'd watch play this mess.
Good video, dude :)
Very interesting hack as well.
SMB was the first for me. Funny how time passes but nothing changes :D
Damn good hack
Big ups
This hack sure has some rough parts. Gap running not working is the biggest offender in this
Gotta hold run and jump for it to work
This is epic and based.
