This is amazing. I think most warm blooded animals love to groom. Not just for lice, bugs etc. but for little wounds, scraps, scabs and pieces of skin. Did you notice the close up of the little bit of loose skin on the finger? My dogs have their way of doing this too. Licking each other’s ears, paws, mouth etc. they lick my feet, legs, hands and arms for ever. Not so sure this is to diagnose sickness as sometime suggested, but to familiarize, clean, maybe out of boredom, and even to show affection.
