7 New Thomson East Coast Line (TEL) MRT Station Opening! (2024-06-23)

On June 21, 2024, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong visits the Siglap MRT station as part of the Thomson-East Coast Line Stage 4 opening ceremony. Free rides and public previews ran until 9 p.m.
Today (June 23), marks the official opening date for the 7 new line.

- Katong Park
- Tanjong Katong
- Marine Parade
- Marine Terrace
- Siglap
- Bayshore
TEL will be more than 90% complete, awaiting the fifth and final step. Founders' Memorial station, located between Gardens by the Bay and Tanjong Rhu stations, is set to open in 2025, with Bedok South and Sungei Bedok stations at the line's easternmost end. A total of 32 MRT stations will be served by the entire Thomson-East Coast Line when it opens in 2025.
