Love this feature. Yes, I am a PC player and I already used GPS (from VCA) all the time and used Courseplay a lot too.... But this is more simple, and yet very effective. A nice thing I just realised: if you switch from AI worker to GPS mode, in this implementation it will work on the same lines. Swaths will continue in the same lines, something that all the perfectionists in the world might like a lot.
Appreciate the video of the AI and GPS in depth. As a FS console player what I have seen is the kind of vision I had hoped for. I just hope the courseplay side of it base game now is similar to what the modded PC one is. Because the basegame version in 22 is pretty useless tbh. Always wanting to get stuck and confused with Ai vehicles and objects.
@TheFarmSimGuy I did see on the asian map there's alot of fog but I guess it was morning in game time. So I'm glad it isn't there constantly like alot of people were worried about. Bring on November 12th!
Fantastic job FSG, showing off some new nice features which were so missed. Is GPS always possible to activate on any machine or do you need to buy a GPS unit upgrade for the machine, before you have the GPS option to activate?
This is massive. Possibly no more need for courseplay or GPS. I hope it will work on custom maps. I'm half afraid that these courses are all pre-programmed to suit the fields of the default maps
I guess it is a bit too early, but have you tried(if possible) to test out the AI workers to make a delivery of crops on the roads? That is what I'm really excited about, and is of big importance for me. Something I mean really does need a big improvement
Another great video, my friend! A question: what is the purpose of the Macdon machine? Is it just cutting and then we need another machine to take what is on the floor? Nonsense for me, pls enlighten meb
Yes it cuts the whole crop and puts it on the ground for a special header to come and collect it (usually atached to a regular combine) It's used a lot in places where the window for harvesting is very small (done a lot in Canada where the weather can get bad quite early in the season. Once it's cut it stops growing and dries out much quicker than if it was left in the ground, because it dries quicker it can be harvested more quickly.
If you look closely, we are getting something that looks like a “row crop light”. The rice plants on the headland follow the direction they were planted. Let’s hope that all the cereal crops have the same thing.
Very nice so gps mode u have to turn at headland yourself ? But Ai is fully automatic mode ? Do u know if there is and updates on Ai drivers for delivery of crops ect that wpuld work properly like auto drive that would be the real game changer for me and would be happy to play on console if this was imporved ?is skip rows so u can run 2 machine?
@@farmerjimmy7453 it’s self detecting I believe, so if you have a combine it’ll do headlands first, if you have a plow or seeder it’ll start on the rows
Great vid FSG, any chance you got a look at ai workers with bakers? It seems baling has always been a manual job, normally in course play I save the combine route and then load that into a baler
How much is Giants paying all of u youtubers to say that everything they do is fantastic, awesome, amazing, gamechanging, extremelly realistic etc¿ I doubt that any of u has even seen a field or a farm irl.
I can honestly say that I haven’t even bothered to pre order this as I can’t see it being that much of a step up from FS22. This feels like a 17 to 19 to me. I also have become so accustomed to playing with all the great mods on fs22 that base game of fs25 I feel will be weak. My opinion only, I will sit this one out for a while until I see what happens.
No I asked when I was in the US last week, it’s to do with licensing and if they want to add it back in for FS25. Nothing Giants can do, they have to let the people who run it agree first
disappointed from a pc player point of view when you see what wopster had. this just seems like a beta courseplay. hopefully wopster releases his version from previous games. Im excited for the game ive been playing since fs09 but so far the 'new features' look unfinished or the bare minimum
They are designed to be simple so they are accessible to the majority of players (plus the limitations on number of buttons on console controllers, I don’t think they were ever designed to replace guidance steering or courseplay (also Wopster doesn’t make courseplay)
Huge! The menu being able to do all that is not courseplay but it's close and has the essentials. Love it biggest feature of the game by far
I've finally gone and pre-ordered, based on the strength of this vid and the 20 odd minutes of gameplay you uploaded. Cannot wait to jump in!
I have never used or being tempted enough to try out GPS on Fs22, but now I will most definitely start using GPS. A big improvement here in FS25

Totally agree!
Your comment is underrated. I hate how you couldn't switch between gps and courseplay on pc.
Fs22 was almost unplayable until courseplay came out, but this looks a massive step forward. Nice one Giants! Cheers FSG
That is just such a great detail, this is what I want
Those details are just incredible 😍😍😍😍😍
I wonder if the built in patterns will have Lands as a choice for harvesting like course play does
Thank you so much for sharing more FSG
More to come!
Like the compaction of the swathe

Glad you are excited for it
Actually impressed
The fog doesn't actually look as bad as i thought. Was concerned it would be fog simulator 25 😂
Yeah just mornings and evenings, I actually like it
@TheFarmSimGuy I did see on the asian map there's alot of fog but I guess it was morning in game time. So I'm glad it isn't there constantly like alot of people were worried about. Bring on November 12th!
Fantastic, thanks FSG!
Glad you liked it!

not 100% sure yet as the shop was locked for us, but it was on every machine by default so I'm expecting it's included in everything
This is massive. Possibly no more need for courseplay or GPS. I hope it will work on custom maps. I'm half afraid that these courses are all pre-programmed to suit the fields of the default maps
No, it scans the border when you drive onto a field, so if you've created your own field it'll scan the border. so it's not pre prgrammed
@@TheFarmSimGuy ah that’s awesome. Pretty much like how existing courseplay works then
I guess it is a bit too early, but have you tried(if possible) to test out the AI workers to make a delivery of crops on the roads? That is what I'm really excited about, and is of big importance for me. Something I mean really does need a big improvement
No not yet that bit was all locked down still, will have to wait for launch for that

They have done a great job with it FSG and a good starting point but I think course play is still better but good for base game 👏👏👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Yeah it’s definitely more complex but it’ll be cool for console players to have a better option than before
I'd love to know if the AI can finally bale (without a mover) or if thats something they still haven't figured out yet
Couldn’t try that but I’m wondering the same thing
Honestly, I like Wopsters version more. First thing I need to do is adding some decent stubble and stubble destruction. 😉

It was still locked down in the version we played so I’m hoping it’s getting an upgrade
@@TheFarmSimGuyok thanks is there any option to do headland first or last ?

Looks good.
Will that meny be on console to?
Yes yes yes 👍👍👍👍

No they still had that bit locked down
will the game support HDR,DLSS all the good stuff from Nvidia as you know I have a 2080ti.
I fully expect it will support all those
So, basically "H" is a simplified combination of Courseplay and VCA
I think that's a pretty good summary of it yes
Do we know if you’ll have to purchase gps for every tractor like the mod in fs22 or is this just available all the time?
Not 100% sure as we didn't have access to the shop, but It was in every vehicle so assume it might be present in every tractor
Yayyyy, more rice 💃🎉🥂
Do you know if you can make two AI work together? Like for example 1 combine the other tractor + auger? Or two combines on the same field.
I've not tried it, but I expect you could run two courses, but they won't interact with each other
As a avid user of CP in previous FS games, has the AI advanced enough that i wont need to wait for CP in FS25 before i purchase it?
I think CP will have much more configuration options, but I think in the interim this will keep you going until such time it comes out
Is gps also on PS5 or is it just pc?
On all platforms 😊😊👍👍👍
@@TheFarmSimGuy Fantastic news thanks. I can look forward to farming in straight lines 😀
Can it fog around 12 pm
It depends on the weather I think
i thought the AI would do it by it self without you having to start stop i thought it was able to do the field while you go off do something else
It can, that's what I was demonstrating with the rice planter, the other is GPS which is a separate tool, you can chose which one you want to use

As a person who grew up and worked on a farm and also someone who doesn’t get paid by Giants I can’t comment
