FS25 is a good step forward for a base game and based on the mods we got in 22 it’s going to be an epic game over the next couple of years (especially with the FSG map lol ) 😂
Nice preview! Driving around was fun. Indeed, very hard without any map. I like a lot from what i've seen. Really looking forward to the game. The bouncing around looks really unrealistic to me, to be honest. As if there is no weight and the tractor model looks very very stiff. The cabs in real life have suspension, right? Hopefully they will alter that before launch. Also, it seems that there is now a bit of ground deformation on the roads (asphalt) too. Was hard to see for me, but that should not be the case. I heard them say a while ago that they are still working on the balance of how much ground should deform. The current settings seem a bit over the top, but it's good to show it off like this and then find the right balance. It does add a lot of immersion for me.

I’ll be honest Hutan Pantai is map I’ll never play - I get it with the ‘rice’ and ‘paddy fields’ but thrashing a T7 through downtown Asia feels a bit wrong 🤷🏼♂️. Glad GPS has been acknowledged but again the lines are irritating, can they be turned off?? Having now lived through 17/19/22 I think if Giants REALLY listened to what simmers want we’d be ahead of were we are now 🤷🏼♂️. Once again, the game will be brought to life by the modders (and thank god for them!). Thanks for sharing what you found though 👍🏼
Yes you can turn the lines off, having played it for about 90 minutes it definitely feels a much more slick game than 22 was but still has that familiar feel to it

Yes, MASSIVE improvements in the grass Texture. FS22 was embarrassing for those of us who kept our farmyards well kept. The animals look much more realistic also. The ground deformation looks pretty cool; does it leave footprints? Alse does one "walk" in 3rd person view instead of slow-motion loping. Can't wait to play this on Oxy's new Map. Thanks for the updates.
Will we have GTA 6 before FS visible arms / hands in cab like almost every game with vehicles has. But nice preview FSG look forward to your videos in a couple weeks time on release.
And I guess you are using a keyboard now and not a steering wheel like you usually do right? That's also a big difference in terms of what you are used to

They could have at least given you a controller to use :\ The "ring of doom" returning is a little disappointing. Keen to know if there is a way to widen it. I have a beefy PC that can handle it. Any techy info on the updated giant engine? Is HDR supported? Does the game do a better job of using cores than FS22 did? The assets look so good. Love the animations on all the new gear. The AI worker/ Steering assist set up looks fast and easy. I like it. Three weeks to go. Cant wait.
A few folks took their own controllers. But old have been useless with that too 😂😂 no engine details yet and I’m guessing the ring of doom will be editable in the game.xml pretty easily

I'm curious how the ground deformation affects seeding and other aspects of farming. Is it "permanent," or does it fade like the tractor's tire marks in FS22. I wonder if the deformation deepens if you reuse the same path for harvesting crops multiple times. Only to be removed with plowing.

I remember the days of base game maps being flat and characterless, overall just pretty boring. Those days are long gone! Map looks great! Shame about the ring of death though… I’ve been complaining about it for years would’ve thought it’d be a thing of the past by now.
This will be the first map I play on 👌👌👌 The only thing I don’t like is that animal pen, again a very basic building with a square pasture. I think it’s ugly. And still hoping for crop rotation at least.

I feel sorry for modders now😂. The map looks so not like a base game map and much more like the really high quality maps from modders. Giants did set a new standart there for sure

most of Europe uses the 24h clock notation as a standard way of telling the time. And like previous Farm sims, easily adjusted in the settings.

CHeckout my ground deformation vid, baslically running any equipment over it smooths it back out, until it's driven over again

Did the Xerion have working suspension? I know tracked tractors in FS22 never had suspension.
Tractors don’t tend to have suspension, usually fixed axle

Yeah, even seeing the textures where your wheels have been on the field while driving. That wasn't a thing in fs22, so I like this
