You are not imagining it: I had to re-upload this because the sound came out super low at first for some reason, and we still can't, in THE YEAR OF OUR LORD 2024, just edit and replace videos within RUclips. Sorry 'bout that.
Hi! I am a subscriber of this tool, the idea is very cool and they keep adding new small features or simply changing the name of things. But today I spent 20 minutes writing a note, now called Doc, and the Scrintal was just not saving it. Suddenly the screen updated and lost 80% of what I wrote. I'm using the latest version and no, it wasn't my internet connection. And even if it were, how will I keep paying for a tool that can't even save text in real time or that doesn't save the last minute of writing in any way? Even when you are writing an email and lose your connection, what you wrote is saved as draft or a message alerting that lost connection is shown! Anyway, is it a bad tool? No, but it is definitely not reliable to write directly on it. Which makes me wonder if it is worth keeping the subscription .
Actually I just found out about Obsidian, and it has been out for a while apparently. That is all free, the optional that you can pay for is to sync between devices. I will try this, it might be a better note taking app than Miro as Miro is mostly build as a collaboration tool.
@@GrumpBurger I was looking into Obsidian and Notion, but Srintal seemed to be a better option at the time. I'll give them a try now that I simply don't trust Scrintal. I'm currently using the old ICloud notes. It's simple, syncs between devices and I can use hashtags and folders. It's not fancy but it does the job for now, every time I open my notes, they are there! Yay!

Loved watching your chickens running around in the background 🐓

Thanks for this information, I am still hesitant about Scrintal. I use Miro for visualisation of my idea's and projects. Maybe try that too?

@@GrumpBurger I've heard of it but never tried, I like the idea of visualizing my projects, maybe I'll give it a try
