This is basically like you would cook perfect rice. You put the rice in the pan and then add water so its just half an inch above the line of the rice. Then pit on the lid and simmer it. It will perfectly absorb the water without getting mushy.
Thank you for sharing this method. I have tried couple times but I have got a lot of sticked, mushy grains on the bottom of the jars. I think it is because I didn't do shaking after. I guess it is really important thing to do. I will try to do it now :)
If there is a lot of cracked corn in the grain, for example with some birdseed, make sure you rinse the grain first. This helps remove some of the starch, which helps with the grain not being too clumpy and sticky.

Ya the shake is the most important step. That and don't pressure cook directly in the water. Elevate the jars somehow.
