Soooo few corrections: You don't need to do 3 bows, just drop the second and you can stop there.
You also need to have equipped a sword and a shield, for it to work easily. And being in the village does help
I was trying to figure out why the glitch wasn’t working as well today as opposed to last night when I managed to dupe enough large zonite to get 8 full batteries, and I had taken my shield and sword off bc there was a thunder storm, but after reading this comment and putting my sword and shield back on I duped more zonite a lot easier. The 2 bow method didn't work for me, the 3 bow one did. So I think it just matters how quick you can get in and out of the menu, so if you aren't quick like me then the 3 bow one works perfect lol maybe I'll get better at it but for now this is fine for me
I think there is a layer of info overload that takes place like when we used to menu overload botw to dupe weapons. I've had my best success rate with this trick fully geared out in lookout landing where there are a ton of NPCs and objects around you to slow down the system for lack of a better term. This seems to make the unpause pause window more manageable
If you need another diamond, there's a shrine on the base of a waterfall North of Tarrey Town that rewards you with a diamond inside a chest. The shrine tasks you with bringing a crystal from Tarrey Town to the right location
How to get the TOTK arrow fuse dupe to work much more consistently. 1. Save and load 2. MAKE SURE you are using the 2nd to last bow in your inventory. From there complete the steps as normal .take out your bow (either fully draw an arrow or just tap ZR to take out the bow) Fuse the material to the arrow, open the menu, drop the current bow and equip the bow IN THE LAST SLOT. when you the tap + twice quickly it will move the new bow onto the same inventory slot as the previous bow, THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT, I have not ONCE duped without this happening. from there it is mainly about timing the + + properly but it is not as time dependent as some videos lead on. I will post this on discord and youtube to hopefully help as many people as possible

If you dupe the hylian shield, you can make one a permanent skateboard with a fused cart.
You are able to keep the second item for the item dupe glitch if you do it inside of a shrine. When you reload you start at the beginning of the inside of the shrine and still have the item and the duped item is dropped wherever you did the glitch
You don't actually need to hold the bow. It's enough to tap to the Bow button, so Link just holds it, but is not aiming. If hold D-pad up after just tapping, it'll also fuse the selected item.

@@taiyana5194 You don't need to ready your aim. But you need to draw your bow by 1-tapping ZR, then pressing up on the D-pad to equip a diamond on the arrow.
Correct. If you're duplicating one too many items, drawing the bow could put you at the risk of firing it and losing the item.
I figured out a more efficient way of pretty much getting it every time (idk if I actually am the first just assuming because I haven’t seen anyone else talk about it) but you can do every step slowly but when you equip the second bow do the double pause immediately after and you should get it basically every time
Also keep in mind that if you duplicate in the menu successfully but when you exit the menu nothing happens, you may need to move to an area without any npc's and animals in it.

Yes, I realized that too. Worked perfect for me every time outside of Rito village, but other areas it was hit or miss.
Moving to any new area worked for me despite how many NPCs and such
Edit: sometimes changing weapons and clothes helps too but it seems random

You can fuse Hylian Shields together (after 1st duplication) and then proceed with the glitch to get 4 shields at once. Pro tip.

@@Hdjroiedjek I haven't done it myself since I don't have a lot of shield slots anyway. But I think they mean if you want a lot of hylian shields quick you can fuse two hylian shields together and duplicate the fused shield as many times as you want. That way you're getting two hylian shields per duplication instead of one. Then you can take them to Tarrey town to separate them without breaking them.
That'll destroy the shield if you want them apart
How does one duplicate a shield? I thought the glitch is for things that can be attached to arrows (tbh I haven’t watched the whole video though)
@@screemobear7034not uf you use the little goron's shop in tarray town. For 20 ruppees, split 2 items apart, keeping both intact
The following are my personal notes from doing this glitch:
- There’s a shrine behind a waterfall at Tarrey town that has a diamond in a chest
- I’ve found that using a bow such as the Gerudo bow or any other bow that has a zoomed targeting mode allows you to open the menu quicker and results in much less failed attempts
- when using any other bow, you should aim to have three green circles throughout the bow glitch, one big one at the start, one at links head, and one that looks more like a ball for the best results.
Might come back to this if I find anything else
You don't even have to aim the bow. Just tap RT to make link equip it then pull out the diamond and do the glitch. Rinse and repeat. 100 diamonds in about 5 to 10 minutes.
I found reprogramming the menu button to one that’s easier to press, more efficient if anyone couldn’t press it fast enough. I eventually got comfortable using plus soon after in order to avoid going back and forth between programs
Ive noticed that for maximum efficiency like with BoTW, Multi-Shot Bows works the best. As well as using two of the same bow.
Note, I did have a glitch happen while duplicating that caused the item to show 0 wouldn't let me drop it or get anymore. Had to reload cause it made the item unusable.
I will add my own anecdotal experience with the arrow duping. As many people have said, you don’t have to aim with the bow - you can just press up and fuse from there. The key for my was hitting plus plus extremely fast after dropping the first bow and equipping the second. If the bows fell on top of one another, I knew I was good to go and everything duped just fine.

Btw you don't need to aim first to fuse an item to your arrow. Equip bow, RT, up on d-pad, start, drop, equip, start-start, drop

been waiting for this so I can stack dusk bows and hylian shields haha love it thank you. And of course lynel bows when I get them. The dusk bow is just so aesthetic to me.
Its arrows also fly straighter, faster and further than most bows, so it's a pretty good idea after all.

I found the most consistent way to perform this. It's based off of the second method for duping items, but you don't even need to time the first pause screen after fusing your item. You can walk around with the item fused, but the only timing that really matters is the timing for the unequip, unpause, pause, requip, drop. You do need to be in a village with a sword and a shield for it to be effective but I've done it this way about 20 times in a row now without fail.

Also you don’t need to aim with the bow. Can just have it out and the equip the item. Saves you from accidentally shooting it
for item duplication you don't need to do it fast when you attach the item to the bow for the 1st time, you only need to do that step after you drop the 1st bow and equip the 2nd bow [Note] : I don't know why but when you use the glitch on other item sort type like ( By fuse attack power / by most used ) the glitch won't work for me, it only work when the item sort by type. hopefully this will help.

There's a shrine just southwest of Tarry Town, takes a little bit to get there but I had difficulty getting all the way to to top of the sky island for the first one.
The way you want to dupe any item is on the second bow you want the green effect to be in a spiral and that will give you the biggest chance of duping the item. It is a 5 frame gap so it is not that hard to get but it does take practice to get it down consistently
5 frames is easy on an open world switch game 😂
In the time it took to watch this video, I duped 20 diamonds and got 10k rupees. From doing this a bunch yesterday and today, I've had the most success with drawing the bow instead of just fusing the diamond to the arrow without drawing it.
Also, It's possible to duplicate something you only have 1 of, but since the last one technically gets removed when you put it on your arrow, you've got to dig through or sort the item bar to find it again. It's not really a big deal, just an inconvenience. I would suggest always keeping two of whatever you're selling so you don't have to worry about that.
Got it in the first try, just avoid using bows with a lot of zoom. I’m using these two: Mighty Construct Bow and Soldiers Bow. Both early game, but as long as they don’t zoom you should be good.
best setup for me if im doing the glitch was shiekah armor, a shield and i always had a 2 handed sword. Generally it only matters that you have stuff equipped so the animation is longer or sum, i dont know exactly how ots working but best is to equip everything, all the other things shouldnt matter but it somehow works better for me with shiekah armor for me and its most likely placebo.
At what time the arrow fuses didnt matter for at all, i tried it with different fuse stages and made sure im pressing as fast as i can and it didnt matter at all for me
if you save before an octo rock and transfer the weapon from after the modifier u can dupe it into the save u did before the octorock so u can modifie infinitely

I've found that if I equip the bow in the very first slot in my inventory, the farthest to the left, doing the process is a lot more reliable
I found that if link is holding a bow that looks fused within other bow, that's your visual indicator of it working. Example: Zora bow and mighty construct bow. If they look like there fused together you got it.
Easy diamond: go to the first guardhouse where you met hoz, go past it a bit and you'll see a castle wall, get on it and look over the edge and you'll see a balcony, get to it and go inside, you'll see an NPC, directly behind that NPC you'll see a grate in the floor, ultrahand it and inside the chest is diamond

After about 15-20 attempts i finally started getting the timing of it all down. Duped 10 diamonds in about 5 mins. Awesome vid
It's easier to do when he's not aiming actually. Also a tad faster since you can just slap the diamond on when he's standing there a d go directly into the duping

Ive noticed its best to use 2 of the same bows , plus use a small sheild and sword. Also when you drop second bow and cancle if the bows stack on top one another it works.

I believe I found an even faster method, where if you do it in Lookout Landing with two bows of any kind at the south gate of that place, and do the same method mention above, with going at an extreme pace, you will dupe what ever item you have, I tested it on diamonds and I got 31 in I think around 5 minutes, wasn't timing myself. But if you do it at Lookout tower you can most certainly dupe items, a way you successfully dupe is when the bows stack on top of each other. Just my opinion on an easy way to dupe items. Also I didn't have any issues on which slot the bows are in.

Tip: much easier with the Pro Controller rather than joycons (the soft rubber buttons make it harder to consistently double-press the + button quickly).
It works 99% of the time if you pause the game mid animation when Link aims (press ZR and immediately pause) then follow the steps as per normal and a quick ++, and you will see the equipped bow doesn't have time to hit the ground. That means it was successful.

@Socialized try aiming higher and the ++ has to be really quick. Also as soon as you hut ZR to aim hit the + button. It takes time but once you get the hang if it you'll be farming diamonds in no time. 😊

I rock at the ++, but when I pick up the bows, the item doesn't always get duped. I'll see it show up on the new bow after ++, I'll drop it, then go pick up both and sometimes I just get one item back. The only thing I have seen animation-wise that is 100% success rate territory is when the two bows drop in a stack. One on top of the other, not side-by-side, then it always works

@@Shalyn-ln9tu but my inventory for diamonds still say 2. I equipped on my arrow just like the video and did exactly like the video. But when I drop the arrow and I see there in top of each other nothing goes up in my inventory
I can confirm that it only works when they stack on top of each other. Standing in a corner seems to help

After watch 3 other dupe vids where I copied the method EXACTLY but wasn’t getting it, this is the one that worked for me. The main difference to improve my success rate is to jump into the menu as fast as possible when equipping whatever you are trying to dupe (diamond). That green effect on the screen mentioned at 2:54 really helps. THANK YOU. Also, I noticed I have a higher success rate in areas that are laggy framerate wise like Mijas Shrine in the mountains. Or maybe it’s mental idk

just a tip for everyone. the lower your fps are the easier it is. go into low fps areas and your timeframe while pausing/unpausing is bigger.
when i limited my game to 24 fps i could get it to work almost all the time
What I find works for me for the dupe, you cannot have the first bow you dropped appear on screen and then I just very quickly drop the second. If there’s a 2 at a time one then hell yes
I’ve found the best way to do the glitch is taking the switch off the dock in handheld mode. I’ve had nothing but trouble with the Pro Controller. I’ve also noticed a higher success rate when I click the buttons faster at ++ and then dropping the second bow (also fast). My success rate is garbage when I slow down.
I just want to say, im using a turbo controller right now to program the button inputs to do this glitch, and maybe its because of slight input lag or something but when i successfully input the buttons to do the glitch properly, it doesnt have a 100% success rate, which means its either dependent on something else or the turbo controller doesnt have the right speed
Make sure you have more than one heart. If you are low on health, it affects links animation, so it reduces the chance of it working 90% of the time.
alright so im getting it to work so much easier now. you dont need to aim, just use zr to pull out your bow, up on your d pad to pick diamond and do start right away, do the trick TagBack went through all the way until you have successfully dropped 3 bows. it seems to work like 90% of the time now.
also, its way harder to do this trick with a pro controller, i prefer using it in handheld because it makes pressing start twice really quick and easy
this should help you get used to the trick, when you are confident you can go back to two 2 bows and it should work the same.
***************************Okay, guys, so a few pointers that seem to work when I do it:
1. You have to wait until the green light effect fully disappears when fusing your material.
2. There seems to be a sweet spot AFTER that, seemingly the moment link fully draws the arrow.(Could be just my imagination as per tip "7")
3. It's FAR easier to do with a pro controller(Joy-cons are honestly hot garbage, but you already knew that)
4. Alternatively you can swap the button mapping on your switch to move the "+" button to be substituted with any other button that works better for you if quickly tapping the "+" isn't working
5. If the bows appear next to each on the ground rather than directly on top of one another, you know it did not work and it's time to correct a mistake or work on your timing.
6. Use this glitch on enhancement materials, Large Zonaite(Both for maxing out your 45 battery charge count, then more for unlimited auto-build recipes), Diamond, high damage fusion materials, radishes, endura carrots, bananas, and pumpkins, and anything else you may find invaluable on your Hyrulian quest ***!!!BEFORE IT IS PATCHED!!!*** to set yourself for many, many, many hours of game time to come. Cheers, fellow cheezers.
7. Apparently you don't actually need to DRAW the bow, just holding it and then infusing works according to several reports, haven't tried this myself, but could be worth a go.
8. You need to have a sword and shield equipped for this to work.
9. It seems to work more often if Link is facing AWAY from the camera.

i noticed a higher chance of it working if your using 2 of the same bow when they land on the ground their directly on top of eachother
Not sure if someone else figured this forout how to know for sure when you get it a duplicate of an items on your bow. As long as you go fast enough with the plus button and the bow animation is paused just a second before the animation puts the arrow holding the item away.
I’ve FINALL figured out why it wasn’t working and the only thing that was holding me back. I wasn’t unpausing and pausing quick enough. Literally double tap the + button as fast as you can to exit and bring up the menu instantly, I haven’t missed one Diamond dupe since I started doing that.
You need to pull the initial bow down with b b3fore you start it. You also need a sword and shield equipped. Slso try and use the same bow

another thing, for some reason it doenst "create" a decimal ten if you have a lower value
for example, i duplicated diamonds until 9, then i needed to buy another one to have 10, from 10 i could go to 99, then needed to buy another diamond, from 100 i think you can hit 999
You do not have to draw your bow. Just equip the item you want duped on the e arrow with it in your hand

I noticed that if the bows land ontop of one another it is a good indicator that it worked
I've been doing it pretty flawlessly and I've noticed that when it stops working for a little, swapping your shields and weapons DOES help, and I think you should only swap to ones without them having fused used on them
Edit: so i just found out that apparently, when I do this glitch at the woodland stable fairy fountain it works almost perfectly every time, so go there if youre trying to do this, my great fairy was unlocked, Im not sure if it works without the great fairy being unlocked

It works, all that matters is the timing. You have to press pause again before the bow you dropped loads in. All the other stuff is junk and not true. If you can do it fast enough itll work.
I want to note. after doing the dupe on a shield. I noticed one didnt drop on the ground but I noticed I had one on my back and 1 on my arm. IDK what causes this but I dropped the equipped one and it put that one as my equipped and the one that I dropped was another one. So I had a 2nd but it didnt drop on the ground. I guess this falls to some sort of timing. but the difference was I had my shield and sword out like you do with the item dupe on the bow.
You don't need to be ready to fire the shot in order to successfully dupe
just pull out the bow, knock an arrow
and the dupe will still work with two bows not three
there is a high chance you did it fast enough if your arrow on the 2nd equip bow is fused when inside the menu
If the bows you dropped fall side by side, it didn't work. If they fall on top of each other, it worked.
my experience is different, the way they fall happened in both successful and unsuccessful attempts
Pakai glitch material. Harus punya diamond karena 500 rupee jadi lebih cepat dapat rupee nya, drop diamond atau material yang mahal ke tanah. Lalu ambil barang tersebut sampai tersimpan di inventory paling bawah atau terakhir. Lalu pakai glitch shield, caranya tekan ZL->lompat->berseluncur pakai shield lalu saat diudara tekan [+] masuk inventory material caranya seperti pakai resep masak, tekan tahan pada item yang hanya ada 1 buah, item yang murah saja, lalu sisa 4 slot diisi dengan diamond atau item yang mahal. Setelah itu keluar dari inventory. Dan diamond akan drop otomatis ke tanah lalu cek inventory, maka jumlah diamond tidak berkurang dan dapat extra diamond yang drop ke tanah. Ulangi saja step tersebut.
If you go to fast on dropping the second bow it seems to not work. I started giving it a couple seconds before dropping and now its consistent.
Alright I’m getting it every time, I pause the game right as the green forms, and drop the bow and equip the other, then I do the double tap and drop my other bow, only do 2 drops not three and have a sword and shield on your back, I didn’t have a shield and only got the dupe once in a while but once I added shield I I got it every time
Green isn’t necessary tho, aim in with the bow, pause then drop and equip, do the double tap pause and if you see the arrow then you will get it

NOTE: If you are fast enough with the 3-bow diamond duping, you sometimes can get two! Idk why or how but... I just had that happen a few times.
Pro tip: it’s not the first pause that matters that much, it’s the second pause ( no you don’t have to do it 3 times)
So if your first pause is slow don’t worry, you second pause has to be extremely quick though.

I tried to dupe a diamond with the 3 bow trick next to the Tenbez Shrine and the low gravity made it dupe the bow instead, seemed to work with all weapons and shields I tried too

Has this been hotfixed? When I do it fast it won’t let me drop the second bow, it goes grey and doesn’t work, and I did the aforementioned having the sword and shield out
Personally melee duping was easiest, I go: unequip in menu, exit menu, enter menu, equip weapon, exit menu again, reenter menu, save, go to weapon in inventory without leaving menu, drop it, equip another without leaving, then double tap + as fast as I can, then drop the other weapon, and finally loading the save.
Fun tip. You don’t really even need three bows at all it does nothing. Just once you press ++ as quickly as possible look at the character display in your inventory menu. You should see the new bow you had equipped and If you look at the arrow tip you should see whatever item you’re duping on the arrow tip again which means you have successfully done it, if not pick up the dropped bow and try being faster.
Dropping and equipping a third bow is just a placebo and does nothing for this glitch but waste a little bit more time.
Not always works doing it that way I've been trying to duplicate the delete button arrow head and 20 tries and the arrow head shows but no dupe.
@@timothylanier1882 idk for me it tends to mean it guaranteed worked and the times I just see a normal arrow I know it didn’t. Maybe I didn’t explain well enough and you didn’t understand but from a few hours of testing and optimizing those were my results.
@@TDEnderPlayz figured it out, you also have to make sure the item is also on the character outside of the menu not just the menu character.
After experimenting with the bow method for a while, there is only one thing for me that seems to dictate a successful or unsuccessful attempt and it's how quickly you exit the menu and get back into it after you drop the first bow. For me, if I don't do it INSTANTLY, it almost always fails. Have to hit ++ insanely fast. When I do that it almost always succeeds. If I do it super fast but not instantly dropping the second bow and choosing the item you want to dupe, it still seems to work. But exiting the menu the first time and going back in after you drop the first bow needs to be instant for me. I know right away when I nail it when I can't hit the ++ any faster.
Quick fix to some mistakes every youtuber is doing when duping, you just need 1 of each item equipt (sword, shield, bow) and just 2 bows no need for 3+ and you dont need to aim while doing this, it takes more time. you can just hold out the bow and select the material to add to the bow and then do the dupe instead of aiming each time
This only worked for me once with zonite, I was in a town with a weapon and shield equipped. Then I tried with a star fragment but it didn’t work. Is there something I’m missing? I’ve been doing it the same every time, but I was wondering if I did something wrong.

can verify bows need to land exacly on each other to be successful. evry time they land like that its worked.

Omg this is insane I know it’s not a scythe but it looks like one could you please tell me how you got that! scythes are my favourite weapon!
dont need to draw the bow at all. just have to tap your r trigger to pull it out, once in hand all you need to do is attach item, drop bow you have in hand. Equip other bow, ++ / b+ , drop the new bow, exit menu pick them up and bam duped items. Drawing your bow is a (pardon the pun) sure fire way to accidentally ruin your day.

I believe if you want to dupe a swordyou can just fuse it with a shield and do the same steps on the video
You can just take out the bow by tapping R2. YOU DONT HAVE TO AIM AND DRAW THE ARROW. All the other steps are the same. I posted a video on how to do this Early yesterday and it seems everyone is putting their own twist on it now. Gah its so scary to lose 500 rupees if you accidentally shoot that arrow.
