Been using the Reh Kittz for over a year now. Every night for about 6 hours. Using Keeppower 5500mah 26650 batteries. Never let me down. Quite good really.

I bought two S1600 torches and one failed after ten days - the LED blew on the way to the chicken house in complete darkness! No idea if I can find a replacement LED but having seen this excellent analysis, I can see its failure was caused by inadequate electronics! Lesson learned: don't but cheap torches that only look good and function for a short time!

I've had this torch for about 10 months now and I only started to use it when taking my dog for a walk in the dark mornings /evenings during the winter months. It performed faultlessly until the past month when the on/off switch started to play up and it wouldnt switch on and/or woukd switch off randomly. The switch on this model is common to countless other battery / rechargeable LED torch brands and the problem with the switch is very common ( check out amazon reviews where the switch problem is reported countless times across multiple LED torch brands brands). There are a few RUclips vids on how to fix the switch , but unlike other brands that use the same on/off switch , unfortuantely the switch on this model is sealed for life and you cannot access it to fix the problem - you have to bin the torch.

Yep I’ve had a few similar torches in the past and it’s always the tail switch that dies. Such a shame as they are somewhat decent value. That’s the reason I ended up splashing out for a Nitecore.

I had a cheap Lepro LE3000 torch that was exactly the same in design with some minor differences in shape. It claimed 900 lumens. Either the LED or its circuit died at some point. So I got one of these, equally cheap. Except I got the S3300 which claims it gets 3000 lumens off 4 AA batteries lmao.
It works exactly the same as the Lepro torch, same brightness, same battery compartments, etc. Do you think all these cheap torches use the same OEM?

Yes that seems like a certainty given the similarities between so many of them
