You covered it reasonably well. I would recommend you do it in the sequence beginning with Android to Android in the simplest way. Then give instructions for the cable and explain the options of what you want transferred. Then do it for Apple products in a similar way. You bounced back and forth from Android to Apple to wireless to cable. Remember : KISS : Keep It Simple Sir.

I was having the same problem. If you still have the iPhone, you need to go into settings, messages, and in there you will need to turn off iMessage. You would do the same for FaceTime. Once the iMessages is turn off, you will now receive messages on your galaxy! Hope this helps!
HELP! I keep getting error that my old phone needs to create more space to.teansfer to the new phone. Ive deleted about 1k pictures/videos and about 10-20 apps. I don't understand why it is not transferring.

When you delete photos they don't actually delete, you have to go into the recyle bin / recently deleted, then delete again
