The Switch has games like LOZ: Breath of the Wild and the Xenoblade Chronicles games which are massive open world games. They even made it possible to put games like Skyrim and Witcher on the Switch too. I don't think it will be too hard to put KH or it as well.

They play well only because they were made limited in the first place (honestly its all the more achievement breath of the wild came out so strong because it was limited by both the switch (a system still weaker than the Xbox one/ps4 era consoles) AND the wii u). 2) I can’t say anything about BOTW (though I could probably find something about it), but the switch CAN’T handle Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Imagine that being one of your favorite games and constantly having to deal with issues from a first party game. For a first party game, that one experiences frame rate drops and poor performance undocked. The other games you mentioned were again specific ports. Neither are as good under the hood as their versions on other systems (they run and that was hard enough to achieve it took them months to develop a whole new version of the game). Again the switch COULDN’T handle the pc or Xbox/PS version of either. You can port ANY game to switch (but it will be expensive (in time, money, and work) for the studio (why the ports are stupid overpriced for what you get) and consumers will get a worse product than on other systems). For this reason the cloud poses an interesting solution to Nintendo’s problem. It also poses a massive problem to their handheld market (I haven’t used my switch for over a year out of pure disappointment and frustration and now there’s just no reason for me to with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate being cheaper, having more powerful games, and touch controls for my phone (I can play every mainline Yakuza game on my smart phone with touch controls and Xbox quality… my life is complete)).
My canon for this is that this entire thing is what Sora is dreaming about while Namine fixes his memories. That’s why he, Riku, and Kairi are still KH1, his memories are being affected thanks to Roxas and Xion who appear with their Stations, Ven is connected to him so we have his and through him, Aqua’s and Terra’s, Stations. His whole move set is KH1 based as well so it all fits into the timeline if he’s dreaming all this at that time. The only outlier is the other costumes but we can blame that on his heart showing him hints of the future or something KH-y like that. (Plus more evidence is that Namine is not a spirit at all and only appears in Riku’s station. Sora doesn’t remember her anymore thanks to Namine fixing his memory)

To be fair for Min Min, the reason they added her for DLC was because she was supposed to be in the base roster for the launch of Ultimate, but since at that time ARMS came out almost around the time Smash was gonna get released, there wasn't enough time to put her in the base roster. That's why they added her for DLC. But that's what I heard.

To be fair, ARMS sold pretty well according to Nintendo. And I would imagine that it’ll get a sequel at some point. How is Steve not unique? Literally the guy where the Smash Devs have to reprogram everything to fit his mining and block placing mechanic. The guy who has weapon durability, resource management, tile spawing on the air, and crafting mechanics in the game.
I never played Arms, but Min Min quickly became one of my favorite Smash characters upon release. She’s got a fun and unique gimmick, and creates interesting scenarios for people to get around. Also, the mega ball is super satisfying to kill with.
You know a whole lot of people wanted a Xenoblade Chronicles 2 rep since the beginning of Ultimate. That game was received really well by most people and considering how Shulk was in Smash already many it made the demand greater. I too was one of those who wanted a XC2 rep. The game was fantastic. The story and gameplay was immersive. The gameplay was confusing at first but after a while it started feel like second nature with the chain combos and specials. The series is basically on the same level as Final Fantasy with how big the open world is.

To be fair for Min Min, the reason they added her for DLC was because she was supposed to be in the base roster for the launch of Ultimate, but since at that time ARMS came out almost around the time Smash was gonna get released, there wasn't enough time to put her in the base roster. That's why they added her for DLC. But that's what I heard.
Yeah I remember hearing that most of the 2nd DLC pass were characters that were supposed to be in the main game while the 1st pass was supposed to be the only DLC added.

To be fair, ARMS sold pretty well according to Nintendo. And I would imagine that it’ll get a sequel at some point. Also, the lack of English voice is for the FFVII characters is partially Nintendo’s fault for not unionizing Smash. And it was actually the MH team who said no to Sakurai’s requests for Monster Hunter.
That's kind of a suprise considering that they already have Rathalos as a boss and assist as well as 2 songs and Mii costumes.

I never played Arms, but Min Min quickly became one of my favorite Smash characters upon release. She’s got a fun and unique gimmick, and creates interesting scenarios for people to get around. Also, the mega ball is super satisfying to kill with.

You know a whole lot of people wanted a Xenoblade Chronicles 2 rep since the beginning of Ultimate. That game was received really well by most people and considering how Shulk was in Smash already many it made the demand greater. I too was one of those who wanted a XC2 rep. The game was fantastic. The story and gameplay was immersive. The gameplay was confusing at first but after a while it started feel like second nature with the chain combos and specials. The series is basically on the same level as Final Fantasy with how big the open world is.
Too bad the game had fanservise which turned alot of people off.

@@BJGvideos Nope still too broke to buy a fucking console but emulation has me covered. Smash is one of the lighter games on switch so any medium PC/laptop can handle it thankfully. But yeah I still have my eyes out for a chance to buy the console since Smash is one of the only switch games I can emulate at good performance :)
