This Rare Mario Plush has NO information on it!

- Recently, I bought myself this rare 1993 Nurinko Club ALPS Shoji Company Color Me Mario plushie for a nice price, but there's just one issue with it... I can't find any information on him! There's no backstory about who, what, when, where, or why this abomination of a Mario Plush was created. He is cute though I will say.

I bought mine in box in very nice condition at a video game convention for about 180. He had it out for I think probably 230 but I negotiated, He also had Yoshi AND Peach but they weren't in as nice condition so I didn't get them, I kinda regret it but I'm happy just to have Mario anyway. The other two looked a bit off where as Mario's design almost looks like a plush version of his in game mario 64 model to me lol.

I was so confused that I could literally not find any information whatsoever on this plush. I'm really curious to figure out what the specially processed fibers are. It's such a cool idea, I wish something like this could have taken off and become a mainstream plush feature.
