- Super Mario 64! A fantastic game, it also happens to be one of the many games that got a plush set released in UFO catcher machines. This set is special because it has some very obscure characters in it, such as Metal Mario and King Bob-omb. In this video I go over the set in detail, talking about their pros, cons, how rare they are, etc.

There’s a Luigi plush, all you have to do is
1.get a wing cap mario and get a picture of a star statue
2.put them together and run around them 2000 times (2 for player 2 AKA Luigi
3.then realize it doesn’t work and just paint it.
SamTheWhat ? Get frustrated from painting a plush and just buy a luigi plush instead.

I got it along with Knuckles off of ToyWiz while they had them for 14.99, they've since raised the price so I wouldn't recommend getting them from that site anymore. Amazon also had them in stock and I got Tails and Eggman from there, but they've since gone out of stock. However, one of my friends did find them in store at Toys R Us, so it may be worth going there and checking if they have them.
+PatMac Pat I found bd and a plush of mario on eBay for 15$ is that a good price
If shipping is cheap, and it has it's tag and is in good condition, then I'd say yeah. Though it may show up for cheaper later on.
11:41 Could the "Mario's World" set have actually inspired the World of Nintendo Plush lineup?
It's very possible as the two lines seem to be pretty much the same general idea, though Mario's World was going to have non Nintendo properties like Banjo-Kazooie as well.

There's actually been a Bob-omb Buddy/Red Bob-omb plush in recent times via the World of Nintendo line (they do have fuses though, which is kinda bothersome, at least for people like me), so there may still be hope for King Bob-omb, saying how they both debuted in the same game, at least to my knowledge.
And the fact that king bob-omb was added in Mario kart tour gives us more hope on king bob-omb merch

Eh, nothing much. One of those giant Marios you tend to win at carnival games, a knock off Chinese Luigi, Wario (I don't know what line it's from but it was produced in 1997) and that's about it.

I never knew these existed! I hopped on ebay after watching this video and found a single King Bob-Omb also listed for $800. I managed to talk him down and we settled on $550. I'm not sure you can find these in the $200 range anymore :( thanks for all your informative videos! I love all the Mario plush sets!

Are you sure it's not the BD&A one? I find it highly unlikely a vintage Japanese exclusive Mario plush made its way to an American good will.

Everybody call him King Bob omb... But his actual name in the game was Big Bob omb.
Thinking of starting a nintendo collection and haviing a room for it with a little tower in the middle that has the mario plush with some clear plastic to make it look like he is flying off the tower.
Yet another plush set that I didn't even know existed, you learn something everyday. Nice video PatMac.
Fun Fact: SuperMarioLogan used the wing cap mario plush in his videos in 2007

I have a World of Nintendo Metal Mario. Obviously it is supposed to represent him in spinoffs (A.K.A. Character Slot Waste) but it is fun to think that it is SM64 Metal Mario.
I feel like the goomba plush is a tiny bit cheaper because more would be produced due to goombas being likely won multiple times by one person thanks to goombas being more fun with multiple. As are all characters that exist in large amounts. Think waddle dees or badnicks, to name a few.

Finally someone else (but me) that actually cares of King bob omb,ita good that they made a plush out of him,after all he is a dead mario character.

I remember there was a Mario plush set of Mario, Luigi, DK, and Wario that I got as a prize from a carnival game. I was around six, so it could've been from 2006-2007. They looked pretty cheaply made (even as a kid I thought they looked off), with stickers for the eyes, eyebrows, DK's tie logo, the brothers' hat logos, and the overall buttons. Mario's face looks too round, and Wario appeared to be always looking up. I remember there being 4 sizes, and I remember the tag being of N64 art of Mario, Luigi, and DK, along with Yoshi and Link, who weren't in the set as far as I'm aware, all with a red background and the Nintendo logo. Could you make a video about these plushes? I'm pretty curious about them. I actually question whether they're official or bootlegs.

I ordered a custom plush of King Bob-Omb for 33.24, sure it's not the official. But I honestly thinks he looks better than the official. The custom plush maker is named oledema, you should check her out. She has some great work.
Oh I'm all for custom plushes! Whenever I complain/mention something being unofficial, I always mean faked or bootlegged. Customs are made by/for fans with fans in mind, and they're made by people who have the passion and desire to make stuff like it, as well as a way to improve and show their artistic skills! I'll check their customs out for sure.

I never new until this video but I actually have that Mario Wing Cap and its actually the original not the re-release. I found it at a goodwill as a kid, no idea it was rare!
About the Winged Mario plushes being similar, it's possible that the two companies received the same stock photo.

I saw a metal Mario plush go for $2,000 on eBay and it was in good condition
saw a king bob-omb for 19.99$, so I probably shoulda bought it. It didn't have a tag though, but back then I didn't have a lot of money so I missed out😣😣

Thanks! I do have some Pokemon stuff, and I do follow new releases, but I don't really collect it so I'm not very well-versed in it, but it could definitely be something I can look into someday.
