I drive sand points in very much the same manner. If you watch the video, you'll see the well pipe bouncing. That means you're onto something hard. Rock, hardpan not sure? When the pipe bounces like that you are pretty much done, at least with my experience. Good luck
Hardpan for sure. The pipe was going down with the slide hammer though, but slowly. However, my amazing girlfriend who I own this property with left me, so unfortunately this project will be left as is when the property is sold.
@@daveberry8562 I thought about it. Also actually my mom expressed interest in doing the same. We'll see. If you keep seeing these videos, you'll know what ended up happening! For the moment though, i'm just spending time drowning my sorrows and having a lot of alone time with my cat.
@@themadmailler At least your cat is more loyal, hopefully you and your mother can send the girlfriend down the road of a long forgotten memory. I've lost two home's to the "love's" of my life. Things have a way of sorting themselves out.
@@daveberry8562 Thanks bud. That really sucks what you went though, and is without a doubt worse than what i'm going through. But as far as my personal experience goes, this is the worst and currently only a week old wound. Thanks for watching, commenting, and being there.
Interesting, thanks for the share. My first thought were you'd make up a mechanical aparatus to work the exising slide hammer. Perhaps running off a small stationary engine.
Do you still have and work on your old case 530 backhoes??? I have one I've got to pull the engine on... I would appreciate any tips if you've got any.. Thanks.. Good luck on your well...
Why are you trying to do it the hard way \? All you need to do is supply water, dig a small area out to line with plastic, fill it with water, use a 4 or 5 inch plastic pipe and use a smaller pipe to force water down the middle of the 4 ich pipe, and the water will bring up the tailings, and use the center pipe to push down and you can easily force the 4 or 5 inch pipe down as a linner, Look it up on youtube and see how easy it is instead of suffering

Our ground is way too rocky for that. I've seen those videos, they look great for the proper soil.
