His music Always brought me closer to God through every hard time I have ever gone through. Me and my family were able to see him in concert over a dozen times growing up. The world just lost an international treasure, but Heaven just gained an outstanding soldier in God's Army. Rest In Peace Carman. Thank you for bringing me closer to my Lord and Savior.

I remember playing this for my dad the day he passed away. He kept saying, "I want to go home." Knowing what he meant, I played this as a way of showing him things to look forward to.

I love this song, but do believe that once you see Jesus, there’s no going back to earth. I got to see Carman in concert a few years ago. It was a real treat. I know that he’s in the presence of the Lord at this moment.
