- In today's video, I decide to check out one of the first custom CAMPAIGN missions that's been created so far! Being able to make custom campaign missions like this has completely changed Halo Infinite for the better! I’m on a Discord server with the creator of the map, and wishing he could add music to the game is all he was talking about shortly before and after releasing the map lol

It's weird seeing the Halo Infinite enemies in anything but a grassy field or Forerunner building
They reason why so many people find halo infinite to be visually unappealing is because most of environments are grassy fields and boring UNSC training facilities.
Prism is proof that halo infinite can be visually appealing ,if 343 won’t make campaign dlc then they should give us the fans to make cutscene’s.

343i heard the complaints about campaign having one biome, gave the community the tools and said "here you make it." Thats fucking amazing.
Some say amazing, others will say lazy, it's a matter of perspective. But any content in my opinion is good content 🙂

Exactly. It's incredibly annoying to see Halo fans comment "wasn't there on launch" or "should've been there on launch". Like, okay? Aren't you happy it's here *now*? Or does it only matter if it's there from launch?
@@watermelongaming3698 A lot of people dropped the game because of it's very lackluster launch. Co-op campaign, something that shipped with Halo 5 was gone, Splitscreen Co-op which was in every mainline game from 4 and earlier was promised and not included. Multiplayer progression was kept behind the worst system imaginable. Multiplayer game-modes were extremely limited and playlists were in a bad state. I am sorry to say but Halo Infinite was incomplete at launch. The developers agree and there is a reason why people who left/worked for 343i said that it was a rocky development with little to no cohesion due to having to learn an engine when the original creators of the engine were long gone.
@@pointathim You seemed to miss my point. I know it was incomplete at launch, never said it wasn't. Heck, I only really play now for splitscreen custom games (with bots, of course). My point was that I find it annoying that some Halo fans will still complain about something solely because it was released after launch. Those fans will completely ignore the fact that it's actually here now for the single reason of "wasn't at launch".
That's why we shouldn't give up.

I’m on a Discord server with the guy who made the map, and seeing the map come together so was so cool. Being able to play the final result after looking at all the progress reports was amazing. It’s crazy to think this was made by one person.

I always loved the way infinites ai was done say what you will about the game but in my opinion the ai actually work well with each other like they dont just all charge they actually work with the strengths of eachother infinite also has my favorite hunters
Roaming around in campaign using whatever's at hand to clear out the banished is always a good time

I plan on making a Forge Campaign Level that takes inspiration based on Operation Torpedo from the Novel Ghosts of Onyx, where 300 Spartans gave their lives in the destruction of a Covenant Refueling Site. In the book there were waves and waves of covenant that clashed with the Spartans on the open battlefield.
I have always wanted to play that mission. The slaughter of the Spartan III’s

Now we need a playlist like some sort of campaign chapters. Add a zone/node once u trigger it, that it will bring u to the next map(level). Top this off with music that u can trigger and u got an almost complete toolkit to make some epic narratives.

If more of these are made you should absolutely play more. Your commentary with Thomas is top tier- although, I'm sure that will be the case with anyone! It really makes up for the lack of dialogue

the elites look so good in this i do like how there gone back to there more original designe they look more agile rather then the brutish bubbling form of 4 and 5 in my opinion
The next big forge update should allow you to add music to parts of the map. Make it feel more like a campaign mission.
We also need Sentinels, Grunt Mules, and the rest of Infinite’s bosses.

I enjoyed watching this almost more than the PvP vidz posted for the last 3 years on YT
I’m so excited for this, now we just need ability to control music and add VO, and the ability to have multiple objectives so we can have some good classic Halo button pushing in our missions. Then if we can just put different missions together in like a playlist we’ve basically got a full campaign
I would love to play (or make, if i ever have the time) a mission that plays inside a covenant carrier.

Imagine if people used the AI voice tech to copy voices and make lines in missions for forge. Their own intro and outro animations. Invasion maps

@@Crusina modders did this decades ago as ealry as combat evolved. Hell, Halo 3 and Reach have had easily accessible forge AI tools for years now. So yeah the community did it, & they did faster 'n better than 343 & with far less resources.
@@hylianglitchmobber7570the AI mod for previous Halo games didn't have such a detailed editing tool with a literal node graph tool with it, the last time I checked...
And who do you think made the forge that allows for this?
@@Solotocius fans created forge long before the devs introduced it Halo 3. And as of the last couple years the scripting tools for 3 & Reach are beyond what we have in Infinite. Until they had large scale scriptable events like Scarab boss battles & such, or objective based firefights, the official version will remain inferior to the modded fan made version.
I'm not trying to act like what 343 has done this season isn't good (it's all pretty great actually). All I'm saying is the fans already did all this much faster, much cooler, and with far less resources
