Yesterday I saw you on the Steve Harvey show, what a blessing i finally found my Nation wide commercial young man. I love the tone of your voice. I was given 2 gifts for Christmas now I have 1 more. earlier Christmas morning around 2:30am I woke up to my apartment flooding. my neighbor upstairs had a mishap. nothing compared to what occurred the Monday just before thanksgiving, deep freezer broke and I lost all of my food reserve. My food stamps were cut, so I began stocking up frozen food, enough for approx. 6 months. the freezer was even 1 year old, but Walmart didn't respond in a timely manner even though I had an extended warranty for 4 years. I lost $943.32 worth of food what is devastating is that I used my credit cards to pay for it I still have to pay off the credit cards. I stocked up so I wouldn't have to stand in line at a food pantry begging for food. However, I learned something: on Saturday around 6:30pm there was a blackout! so without electricity, I could have lost the stock of food, Walmart needs to step up to the plate and do the right thing; by reimbursing me for my total lost and the situation and stress I have suffered because of the neglect, someone was suppose to take care of the matter on the first of December, but there was nothing. no call, no text nor an email. until later because I called, I have photos and have asked Shoprite to give me a printout of receipts for the course of the last 7 months. Why have I written al of this. I would like for you to forward this to Steve and ask him to contact Walmart on my behalf I am a senior that's slightly disabled. I can't live off of $3.42 cents a day for food. Because I worked the election board to supplement my income, I am going to be penalized to repay the over payment for earnings of 2016 & for 2017/ I earned $212.50 3 times in 2016, 212.50 twice in 2017. I have received less than $800.00 in SSI & SS. Now I will lose partial benefits from SSI with is approximately about $70.00 a month for over one year! AsurionCares offered me $300.00 dollars, I don't want less than 30% for my lost, as stated I still have to pay off the credit cards.
