If I being evil having been polluted by satan and exposed to this carnal world can forgive my son and daughter if they come to me in repentance then how much more will our Heavenly Father forgive us if we come to Him humbled and with a contrite heart? Imagine the supreme Creator who knows how weak we are and how easily we are tempted to deny us just because we don’t “speak in tongues?” Doesn’t salvation come by acknowledging, repenting and accepting Jesus’ sacrifice for us? I enjoy listening to Geno Jennings, he’s dynamic, bold and very interesting to listen to but he’s a mere human, with flaws. It’s impossible to think that God has given him 100 percent perfect interpretation of the scriptures while everyone else has been wrong.
Millions of SINCERE people have been baptized in “the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost” but I disagree that these people are lost. Geno Jennings says that thousands of SINCERE people have been lead into hell but do you honestly think that God will overlook “sincerity” when that is one of the traits that God looks for? Psalm 51:17 “My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise.” Whether we have been baptized “wrong” yet you are SINCERE and acknowledge that you need God then God will answer from heaven.
You're spot on about that. God is not one to make salvation hard for someone totally ignorant of the scriptures but their heart is 100 percent sincere that they are begging for God in a humble manner to save them. That's my understanding from God's word. Have mercy on me, a sinner. "Which one of these walked away justified?"
Pastor Geno does know the word of God completely without question but he uses his knowledge of the word to criticize those who don’t have that same knowledge instead of enlightened them and I think that’s wrong because he should be teaching them to understand the word of God not to belittle anyone who doesn’t have that kind of knowledge because they are also the ones who needed the help the most because if you don’t know the truth of the gospel you should be taught of it not to be denied of it because ignorance of a truth is not a sin. God want all of us to know the truth about the gospel sinners especially because Jesus Christ said I came to heal those who are sick not to condemn them ❤
