I'm most impressed with her knowledge. She knew all the little details and specific terms like the type of charging port the glasses use. She also spoke clearly without any hesitation. TCL is really serious with their convention presence putting quality people there answering questions. BTW....TCL should give her a promotion and a raise.

That real-time multi-language dialogue translation sounds like a technology that would be really useful, especially if you could turn off the screen (just use as a normal pair of glasses/sunglasses) and just have the audio piped through the ear set. But I hope these companies are taking privacy into consideration with these devices. I'd hate to have my business meeting translation data being stored and sold.

Yeah the real-time subtitles for Translation and for hard of hearing people can be totally awesome. I filmed this video a few years ago with a company that was trying to make this kind of app for the Vuzix Blade smart glass product ruclips.net/video/qMZfUGR6lao/видео.html the idea is awesome. Thing is the glasses need to have shotgun microphone technology, to be able to focus straight ahead and capture only the sound of that person talking straight in front of you. Also I guess voice recognition to focus on only one person talking at the time. This kind of voice isolation capability is crucial for clear subtitling/translation in noisy environment, as people don't always interact in a room in total silence. It will be fantastic to wear those and reliably understand someone who speaks to you in a different language. Then perhaps you could be wearing some little but loud speaker set that speaks back your English (which it needs to clearly capture with the microphones straight under the smart glass that focus at capturing the speech only from the person who is wearing the smart glass) to whichever other language those people speak. All this I think should be possible, just someone needs to focus on integrating all these requirements directly into a light and compact smart glass system. It's going to be awesome to travel to China, to Japan, to Korea, to Indonesia, to Spanish speaking countries, to Brazil/Portugal and to understand what people (who don't know how to speak English) are saying!!

Why make a standalone product that works like a very low budget phone, why not create glasses that just work as a phone extension that offer a display, speakers and a camera. I think that would be a way better experience. Instead of this bad software and clunky navigation system.

I was just thinking the same.
The display technology on the X2 is the future but the performance built into them is just gonna hinder the experience of might be a revolutionary product.

Agree! -Everyone just wants a portable screen on their face, nobody wants the computational part. That and the power supply should be external to reduce the weight...

Hello, here are some uncomfortable questions for TCL RayNeo X2 that probably many people would like to hear answers to:
    1. How long does the battery last?
    2. How much does it drain the phone battery, considering it needs to be connected anyway?
    3. How comfortable is it to wear for an extended period?
    4. Is it waterproof?
    5. What about heat? Does it become warm, and if so, where - on the front or legs?
    6. Is there any pressure related to the device weight on the ears or nose?
    7. Is there any pressure related to the legs on the back of the head?
    8. Does it leave any marks on your face after wearing it for a while?
    9. How long does it take to charge it fully?
    10. Do they work without an internet connection on your phone for any function?

There is lots of American Chinese people who can speak even fluent English, why not to hire them to represent big companies on major exhibitions like this ? Too expensive for big companies? Poor management?

there should be other native english speaking representatives on site, i mean isnt it better to have representatives from all region?. sure she is obviously not native english speaker, but she speaks well enough to be fully understood. on top of that, she obviously did all her homework and knows everything from top to bottom, except not allowed to disclose the price lol.

She was talking clearly I understood everything that she said, plus she has good amount of knowledge about their products, and 3rd party technology, so not just native speakes can understand her, also international not native english speakers can understand her that's a plus for an international company.
