This is last remnants of that 2002 team that went to SB 37 and had an awful year in 2003 and this was Al Davis’s last hurrah (2005 Moss too) at trying to “reload” … Turner’s offense was more vertical and went away from the West Coast offense which dink and dunked you to death with 2002 NFL MVP Rich Gannon and it didn’t suit him well but he was very competitive and I believe if not for the Brooks career ending hit (clean hit) … then Oakland makes the playoffs that’s how important he was … to date my Raiders haven’t been the same.
