Man is this Nov '22 mfg, Signet X is over-engineered lol. (Same mechanicals as Corsair X).
Very pleased with the fact they are levels above Bell, Arai, HJC and AGV lids in the $1,000 range.
I made one mistake as I partially opened the shield (not fully, as per instructions) before removing the shield, and then had to push the black tab a second time to allow the re-install, because the mechanism requires the full push to be able to re-install, even though the shield will come off, it won't go back on. Very easy process with no danger of breakage, just be gentle, not ham-fisted.
I got the photochromic shield for maybe 100 off ebay, got two because the Shoei 1400 shields are twice the price, and this Arai fits me better (Sig X) than the not oval enough Shoei (headache after a few long days). Got it for $520 new from a friend's shop (his price, plus tax), so that's the lowest you will see if you are looking.

Is the 2015 "Drudi Performance "Signet-X" the same exact face shield. Are all "X" face shields the same up through the years? I'm having trouble finding replacement face shield for the "Drudi Performance "Signet-X"and I don't want to buy the wrong one.

Hate this system but it is what it is. Don't know why Arai can't make a Shoei type removal.
Yes that little bit must make Arai a freaking fortune. what piece of crap the pod fittings are. Surely designed to mug owners £30 plus to replace when broke.
