RAF Airbus A400M Atlas ZM401 at Aldergrove. 15/8/24

RAF Airbus A400M Atlas ZM401 is seen at Aldergrove on the 15th August 2024.
ZM401 Was on a 2 day visit to Northern Ireland to operate low level training flights across parts of the country.
First we see ZM401 coming into land on runway 25.
Then we see her taxing back to runway 25 a short time later in preparation to operate it's next training flight.
Next we see her taking off she would now head towards the Portrush , Giants Causeway & Ballycastle area to conduct the training.
Radar data showed the aircraft descending to as low as 500ft at times.
And finally we see ZM401 coming back into land for a 2nd time.
During the course of the 2 day visit ZM401 mainly conducted the low level training within the Portrush / Ballycastle area.
However on the 2nd day the aircraft did fly around most of Northern Ireland while conducting low level training in multiple locations including the Sperrins & Mourne Mountains.
It is fantastic to see the RAF using Northern Ireland for this type of flight training hopefully we will see this happening more often.
