Thank you very much for you video ,it may the first cutlassfish or ribbonfish video in VA, it is very important for us ,thanks a lot from bottom my heart.again.
down here in florida, there are spots where cutlass are everywhere. when fishing at night, they would sometimes jump into the boat. 500 is average on a good day. granted i target them since the big ones have great fillet. great vid, I am a new fan.
I always thought of Cutlassfish as a western Pacific species. I know they are caught in Korea and Japan, and I always see them here (Hawaii) in our Korean markets frozen. I tried some once, and though tasty they were a tad bony. Thanks for a great video!
Hey where do you fish during the winter? I've fished all over Philly and the surrounding areas but I've never tried ice fishing or mid winter fishing around here.
HERE IS SOUTH AFRICA AT THE HARBOUR WE CATCH THEM...WE CALL THEM WALLA WALLA ....BEST USE A STEEL WIRE LEAD AND A SMALL GLOW STICK ATTACHED TO THE LINE FOR BEST RESULTS....BEST FISH TO HAVE FUN WITH AT NIGHT, GREAT VIDEO GUYS
Caught around 70 of those in hampton the other night. Being an Asian myself, I love eating these fishes since i was young. You can find them in most asian market and they sell for a decent price.
+Jackson Kearney We threw most of them back, gave a couple to some guys keeping them. theyre the best king mackerel bait apparently, and good to eat as well
Me I travel the world going fishing j catch and release cause back home I have 3 aquariums with piranha lizardfish frogfish is there any possible way to breed fishes together to make a new fish / fish species if so please feel free to leave a suggestion or comment any time any day thank you I hope to hear from whoever soon
i actually use a # 20 hook "very small" with little pcs of fish skin on my sons rod. to catch those silver sides or smelts. not anything to it. i let my 5 year old go to town. can catch them all day long. wile i fish for the big boys
