I think these new ones are permanent Lydia! So no rush! And Stora Dolls is an amazing palette, I love the color story. So I fully understand!! Enjoying and appreciating what you have is more important than buying new stuff all the time 😉 (which sounds a bit weird from me as beauty content creator /reviewer , but believe me, there are many ‘old’ palettes that I still really enjoy and use a lot).
Your photos on IG, plus this review was the final push for me to finally try the YSL quads. I absolutely love Over Brun! I'm so happy I bought it. The jury is still out for the other one I bought (Kasbah Spices) 😅. I'm considering getting one more of the new ones, but can't decide between the smoky one or orange. Anyway, thank you for making such detailed videos!
Happy to help! I’m so happy to hear you like Over Brun! Over Orange en Over Noir are very different quads, I can’t really give you advice about which one to get. Quality wise they are both really good. So it comes down to personal preference, which of the palettes will suit your skintone, and which one will you use most?
@fedaro_beauty I decided to get Over Noir, even though warmer colors suit me best. I have a ton of oranges, but hardly any gunmetal or pewter type of colors, which my husband loves on me. I have one go-to product for when I wear a cool tone look (basically for him), but it's pretty old. I think having these colors in such a great formula might be a good replacement for it, and even upgrade! Thank you again for the extra ideas to consider! I think I might use the black color to help add dimension with other palettes as well.

After realizing that I already have a gold / brown colour story in a Suqqu quad and another Hermes quad, I decided to get Over Brun instead of Over Dore, plus Over Noir. After seeing your consolidated eye looks on IG yesterday, I kinda regretted not picking up Over Dore 'cos the gold really stands out on the eye. But given this RUclips review that Over Brun has no fallout, I think it will be easier to work with, and will make a really convenient everyday neutral palette. Thanks Danielle for your thoughts on these quads and comparisons with similar palettes! I also totally agree that YSL should release more colourful quads beyond just neutral colour stories. I used to have a teal / blue quint from YSL in 2018, which was absolutely beautiful. It was my fave eyeshadow palette and the blue colour always showed up beautifully on my eyes in photos. Sad that it's no longer around, wish YSL could bring back something similar.
