Parwaaz was a very different album. Riding high on Azadi's success, it carved a niche on the skyline of album-music in the subcontinent in the late '90s. This album certainly cannot be taken lightly. It is reverential and touched exalted heights of expressing man's loving surrender to a Higher Power.

@@junoonofficial I have heard that album closely. Because of the astounding success of Azadi in India, you'll had released all your back-catalogues compressed into one album called Dosti, in the year 1998, I think. But the production doesn't come anywhere close to Azadi and Parvaaz. Not just production, but Azadi and Parvaaz were far more mature albums too - your music had evolved spiritually, the arrangements were immaculate and the sound was tighter and stereophonic. Ali's voice had evolved too and he had begun sounding a bit like Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. You guys were in a different league at that time. I remember, Indian people were besotted and smitten with this new sound that they were hearing. I don't know where you guys have gone!! Your fans want to hear another inspiring album from the house of Junoon. It is just not fair to deprive them indefinitely. The tabla/dholak, Salman's mystical guitars, Brian's bass and Ali's voice is all people want to hear - in a new album with a new perspective on the world as it stands today in 2022. I am sure there are a lot of topics that can mushroom in your collective minds to base the theme of your album on. How long are you'll going to live on your past honours? Create something new. Your fans are thirsting for it. Its been ages. Door album was good, but that is not the band's album. We want a new album made now by the three of you. Choolay Aasman was an effort (that's it) - it wasn't ground-breaking or phenomenal.
