2012-minecraft can run on a single potato
2022-people buy the whole potato farm to run minecraft
4090 13900K and DDR5 7200 Mhz OCed to 8000 Mhz to run Vivecraft + Physics + Shaders probably will still be 30 fps, but I will play with barebones shader settings to see if I can get it to work. Also this is on the Varjo Aero at 2880 by 2700 per eye but Ill probably lower the PPD to 25 from 35 or lower whatever it takes to get 60 fps

@@cybyrd9615 that's insane, didn't even know that's possible. Sounds like you need the next gen RTX 5090 or next next gen RTX 6090 to hit the sweet spot and get 90hz+ so you don't get VR sickness

this is interested but I wouldn't say any of this looks good. Like these high res texture packs just make it look like an indie survival game you would find on steam.
The texture/shader pack is trash. The physics mod is gamechanging.

i was using shaders and physics with the fabulously optimised pack (LOL) but it made my 3090 actually able to run minecraft!
Use the continuity mod + indium for connected textures on fabric.
3:00 pretty sure there’s a couple mods u can use to blend those textures together (assuming ur running this on Sodium with Iris)
Like continuity + indium? It does fix the textures but it brings a shit ton of lag.

Lilypads don't move when water hits them from above
The tree leaves kind of weird and trees don't fall down but still float
