From Syracuse. Haynes isn't a guy you mentioned but has been getting a lot of hype from Coach Brown and local media. A name to watch out for. Most talent this team has had in a very long time.
Great recap. Notable misses: King Joseph Edwards and Zeed Haynes. I’m so excited about this team and can’t wait for the season to kick off! I think we’ll get 8 wins, with 10 being a not-preposterous ceiling if this new roster and coaching staff really gels, and both McCord & Gadsden stay healthy.
I think 8 wins is about right - but the talent, coaching and way increased seriousness around program - it wouldn’t shock me to see 10 wins if they are really cooking under Coach Brown
One thing I realize for next year is that I need to expand my depth chart section. Cuse had a bunch of guys at receiver that will play roles this year. Just couldn't get them all in. I like Haynes and what he can do but should have talked about him more than some of the other guys.
My son is attending Syracuse in the fall and we're massive sports fans but coming in with no prior knowledge of Cuse football except Donovan McNabb! Great primer for us to get into the team, sounds like an exciting time to get on board! thanks!
Good time to get there with the new staff coming in! Lots of potentially exciting games in that conference too! Have fun! Games in the dome are a unique experience for sure
Firstly welcome to Syracuse! Here’s a fun fact, as of right now, the Orange actually are tied for 4th in producing the most NFL hall of famers with 9. They have Jim Brown, Larry Csonka, Al Davis, Marvin Harrison, Floyd Little, John Mackey, Art Monk, Jim Ringo and now Dwight Freeney. They’re not typically known as a football score anymore, but they’ve definitely had some greats play for them for sure ❤
Not sure why yazeed haynes isn’t on this notable list of WR’s he’ll have the most yards and receptions of any receivers & has extremely high nfl potential and buzz
As an alumnus of SU, I have mixed feelings regarding financial resources committed to football. However, one can't deny the pivotal marketing advantage a school teams when it is at the forefront in sports in this country. As example, outside of academia who has heard of NYU or Stony Brook? University?
I’m very excited for freshman athlete Malachi James. In the last three weeks, he ran blazing fast 10.18 100m dash in NJ sectional championship. And then in NJ state championship he ran 10.28 100m dash. That is serious speed!!! Not sure he’d play much as a freshman but he could be the fastest player in ACC.
Schedule looked "easy" In your opinions..does it still look "easy?" Miami top 6ish Pitt undefeated Va tech lookîng primed for a W run BC def better than expected Cal has nice Wîns and arguably shoulda beat Miami. and then this week NC State thats struggling...need a win and @ncSt ?
Okay, just being honest, Hatcher isn’t remotely starting. Will be Haynes, Meeks, Gadsen… also Del Rio Wilson has less than zero chance of seeing the field unless McCord gets hurt.
Seen a couple places with Hatcher there but I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s not. New staff means lots will change between now and the start of the season
What will Syracuse’s record be in 2024?
11-2 in my dream world .. we feel like we won a title at 10-3/9-4 ..
Phil Steele thinks they can win 8 ! 11 wins gets then into the 12 team playoff ! Missouri has the same dilemna

Appreciate the feedback! I really am curious how Gadsden does after that injury. He’s such a fun player for that offense

10 wins would be incredible! I like how much excitement there is surrounding this program. Excited to see if Brown lives up to the hype
Bro how did you forget Zeed Haynes transfer WR from Georgia he was McCord favorite target in the spring game

I’m beyond bias. And with the hardest team being NC state maybe Miami. I can see Syracuse going undefeated. Got to have faith

Great breakdown! Nice to hear someone talk about the program who is clearly very knowledgeable
Appreciate the feedback! Love talking about these teams. Any other team you’d like to see?
Great work on the deep dive series mate!
Appreciate you as always! They’ve been fun to do
You’re forgetting Marcus Washington. Former high 4* who transferred from Louisville
Decent job my friend. But BOLD statement saying JRS left CO St to go to Syracuse for less competition. Correct me if I miss heard...

Great breakdown can’t wait to see Miami and Florida
Appreciate the love!

Yeah that speed will be fun to watch. Offense could use it for sure
Good video
The ceiling for Syracuse is 10 wins with this schedule. The floor is 5, maybe 6.
Very favorable schedule, good year 1 for Fran Brown and company
What do you think their record will be?
@@JoeBroback around 6-6 or 7-5 range
@TheStiffArmCFB sounds about right to me. Most realistic outcome
Schedule looked "easy" In your opinions..does it still look "easy?"
Miami top 6ish
Pitt undefeated
Va tech lookîng primed for a W run
BC def better than expected
Cal has nice Wîns and arguably shoulda beat Miami.
