Thank you!!! I have searching for something with texture that would use my scraps. I was working on a scrap blanket 2 years ago that my sissy loved (while I was making it she claimed it). Like many things I put it down when I took on the full time care for our mother. Momma left this plain in July and my sissy followed her in December. She just didn't wanna continue. I was finally clearing our mother's room when I found the half finished project. I frogged the whole thing cause of grief/healing and decided I'd remake something for my sister's blind grand-daughter. So, again thanks for the this perfect project. My grand-niece will love the texture plus it's something her grand-mother adored.
@@lorrainebell7926 My deepest condolences to and your family. I've found that crochet gets me through many many ups/downs. It does get easier I promise. Sending love and comfort ❤
I love the crochet crowd. They teach us so much. But, and please, don't get me wrong, if you watch these tutorials on silent mode, as I tend to do, you will notice that there are so many parts where his hands are not really crocheting, because he is talking instead. It's a whole lot of time that could be saved while so much more could be being shown -- which is the purpose of instructional videos.
Just FYI, Round 6 of border, the written instruction says (2SC, picot, SC) in ch-2 corner, not chain 2. Is it supposed to be (2SC, chain 2, 2SC) in ch-2 corner?
Would love to make this in an "adult" size. I'm thinking 11 squares wide and 13-15 squares long. How many skeins of yarn would you recommend to buy of each colour? Thanks!
Bonjour, j'aime vos vidéos mais étant nul en anglais je ne peux pas suivre vos explications est-il possible d'avoir un sous titre anglais ou français serais top svp merci

Nice project to have on the side to use up scraps as you go thru the year.

Love the gingham blanket, beautiful. Thanks Mikey Lori Schreiner
Beautiful!
Really like this pattern!
Great tutorial Mikey. What a beautiful pattern I can't wait to try it. Kindest regards from Australia ❤️🐨
I’m loving this Mikey, think it has to be my nxt project. Thankyou & Happy new year, love from Liverpool x
Beautiful work. Congratulations !!!! I'm checking your site. Thanks. I'm brazilian. 🤗😊
I skipped ahead and didn’t see any gingham pattern anywhere. I read the comments and no one seemed to notice it. Thought I was losing my mind! 🤣
Thank you Mikey. This is beautiful.
I would have like to see how you join your squares before the border but it is a nice pattern
Mikey has a joining video. I think the join as you go would work out nice.
Do you have a video with instructions on how to put squares together?
For sure. Here it is. ruclips.net/video/pSafP7s7DIs/видео.html
If you want to make a bigger blanket would you double the square number?

Yes Mikey does teach us so much.
I'm glad he talks and explains as he goes along. I tend to listen rather than watch and only look when I misunderstand the verbal instruction.
👍

You are correct. Mikey missed that I had a picot in the center of each corner. ~ Jeanne
So, should it be: (2SC, picot, 2SC) in ch-2 space?
That now makes more sense. Looked like the corner needed something. Yeah happy camper. Nice job love watching you Mikey
