As someone who played the game for a few years (2014 - late 2018) it absolutely sucks to see a childhood game getting violated by a bunch of greedy developers. Most monetization they've done is scummy, to potentially illegal (gambling/loot boxes in a kids game and fake sales percentages)

No it won’t ban you but I’d still recommend to use a burner steam account and also not your pg main. You can also add all wear and modules, you get everything back which would give p2w players an advantage. It sucks you need to mod your account to have fun but I’m not letting money hungry devs destroy my game experience which would actually be nice if I was a p2w. They destroyed the f2p experience and it also sucks when you’re not maxxed. But when you ARE the game becomes so much fun again because you can actually compete with other op players again
Me too, something hit me that I found the game unenjoyable and I was unable to experience fun in the game anymore and I was unable to successfully go through a whole match in a year without getting bored and leaving ever since.
the funniest thing is, a pg3d youtuber made a f2p series starting from a new account and the devs actively watched his videos and nerfed every f2p aspect of their game, at the same time his series made me wanna start playing again from scratch.. what a joke of a company
@@Onyxcatsyes it was pixel echo he tried to help people play the game as f2p players and he made it extremely far giving tips along the way and one of his main ways to get gems is the reward of choice every 30 ads you watch you get 150 gems and 50 coins that added up knowing the cooldown to watch the ads was low until the devs nerfed it cooldown for ads in 3 minutes 60 gems and like 30 coins.

I did join ethereal 2 days ago for next week war, gonna see if I can try again... probably not

@@Otherfacemonster legends is absolutely horrid. Every new era powercreeps the old one. There are very few viable monsters. Constant grinding of dungeons. The dungeon for cells takes way too long after a random update. I quit around the time ancestors came out and it’s horrendous. Like legendaries are useless, mythicals below blossom(and the one below) is unviable, amongst countless issues. Also, they made the free season impossible to grind. In the past I could make it to the end rather easily but I could barely make it halfway later on. Honestly, might be even worse than pixel gun because pixel guns power creep is already near the top but monster legends just keeps pumping out more stats.
I didn't play monster legends for few years but i wanted to reinstall few times and it actually had 4.5 stars rating and good reviews, did it really turn that bad?
i genuinely think the worst possible outcome for ANY video game - is when the community is angry and the devs double down. that's usually my cue to quit the game all together.
Don't forget that removed update which copied Brawl Stars with map rotation and old boxes (I missed how good the updates were, it got removed because heavy grinders)
Some guy on Roblox is remaking 2017 pixel gun 3d. It's not perfect, as there's no offline mode (for obvious reasons) and the physics are a bit off. Aside from that it's working online multiplayer pixel gun 3d!
I'll tell you how the upgrade system works.. not only do you have to upgrade your weapons every time you level up... but, every time you level up, your weapons get weaker so your mandated to upgrade it or it won't work as well and the level up reward isn't even enough to upgrade 1 WEAPON.... If a level up system punishes you instead of rewarding you, you know the game is bad (I hope you see this because this feature gets overlooked most of the time)
With how Pixel Gun 3D has gone more P2W-oriented and less F2P-Friendly, it is basically impossible to get the weapons you actually want without paying a pretty penny or grinding till your thumbs fall off
As someone who hates the current state of pixel gun and prefers old, I disagree. The game has always been p2w ever since gems were added back in 2014 or 2013 iirc. Getting a weapon you would want could take between a day to literally never f2p.
@Insaniac420 back in 2015 there was a gem chest glitch that i used tf out of and got many cool guns and weapons and back then good weapons like laser bouncer were absolutely great and costed coins
I remember when weapons had their own kill, like laser weapons made the player vanish like a thanos snap in the color of the weapon's shot, and if it was an explosion, the player would get turned into ashes.
another 2 castles enjoyer. it was my 1st played map when the flag capture mode was released and even had a lobby background of it speaking of maps these used to have sound effects when you explore around. reason for the removal is likely just to shrink the games size but look where it stands now. my device is no longer compatible if the game crashes in less than 10 minutes
I think I played from 2019-2020 until I quit when I got into high school. Looking back, I hate how I wasted time on it in the latter years of the p2w eras. Some time that I’ll never get back.
After accumulating around 8-9k hours on the game and see it fall apart slowly It feels SO GOOD seeing someone who understands, exactly why the game fell off. I've seen so many vids talking about "the downfall" of pixel gun that see like they were written by someone who either used to play like 6 years ago and never touched it again or someone who just looked up "pixel gun p2w" and went with what they found. Feels refreshing to finally watch someone who played the game and saw the annoying/undefendable details pileup into this mess we have today.
Used to play the game constantly, stopped when it got too pay to win. Came back this past week and enjoyed it (kinda), hit level 50 and cannot play anymore. The game is completely unplayable when you hit level 50 because of pay to win 3cat spammers. Also, it is impossible to save up currency to buy weapons when you are constantly using all of it to upgrade your weapons, which sucks. If you don’t poop golden bricks, DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME.

I remember playing it between 2013 and 2017. Almost any weapon was a viable choice, max rank was 31. You could buy pretty much every weapon with coins earned through the survival mode or PvP matches. You could host private sessions for 1v1’s. What a time to play this game. I’m so sad to see how bad it has become
Currently there is so many complicated systems in the game and they need to rework the full game to simplify it and reduce the bloat. Try to return it to its simplistic roots from back in the 10’s
Bro another about silent school not having music is that the level in the campaign world 1 level 9 has the music and the Survival mode doesn't have music either but the campaign world 3 level 2 has the music, they're so lazy that they don't even fix it and just focus on getting money.
The module system is literally rock paper scissors when shooting guns. The skill gap is widen because of its existence as sometimes your weapon will barely do anything to other opponents. And getting them max out is expensive as you have to use coins to level it up. The modules system for me really is the worst aspect of pixel for me
And here I am just waiting for them to release a new episode of the campaign mode. But it seems that mode got the Plants vs. Zombies Heroes treatment, being quietly abandoned…
This game used to be good and then they just went for all-out greed. To the point of even straight up copying other things and then just renaming it so they wouldn't get into legal trouble. I remember when this came out and it was really fun to just mess around on and with Survival Games basically being Hunger Games but it didn't really matter at that point. It was all just good fun. And then everything just became unbalanced, pay to win, just scummy greed. It's disgraceful and disheartening to see a childhood game turn into something like this. I remember playing this with my cousin on the iPod Touch whenever I went over to visit him. :') (Edit: anyone remember back in the day when everyone was using the ghost Lantern because it was a one shot to anything. I cannot express how unfair it feels playing this game, every PVP mode is basically unplayable now in the sense that you get absolutely destroyed by little jimmy that used his moms credit card to get the strongest weapon in the game, its still fun to play don't get me wrong but MAN the game really went downhill and turned into pay to win slop.
I quit back when I was in 8th grade. I stopped playing it cause the controls felt stiff and not as maneuverable. Back in 11th grade I returned to it for a bit but deleted it again cause of how lack luster it felt and how op everything is.
I remember so long ago, something happened where a glitch happened that made me able to infinitely open the daily chest, I kept on opening them to hope for thw daily spin gun and I shit you not have never gotten it for like 6 hours of spinning. As a game developer who want to start a new game, I also made a replicate version of Pixel Gun 3D and yes I’ll assure you that this game i made is more BALANCED and proper transaction, because I play Pixel Gun 3D game in 2014 and men i miss the OLD version of itself because back that then has more balanced weapons and you don’t even need to paid to make yourself stronger, the armor is what makes you strong enough to fight against with the P2W players, it’s sad because the Pixel Gun 3D we know right now became a gamble and p2w game. I miss the old days.
I remember when I used to play this game. It was fun years ago when I first played it while waiting for my mom in the 'marking center' (just a highschool where teachers gathered to mark exam papers over the summer), but it got too expensive to play. A problem I had with the game over the later years before I stopped was that each level and weapon costed hundreds of coins each but even the most successful matches will only give you 2-5 coins. Good luck if you lost.
I remember when the golden friend was a good weapon, got it out of a lucky create in like 2014 and it was my main weapon till it fell off super hard after some random update I can’t remember ( sometime in 2017 ) Which is around when I stopped playing as well. Pet dragon was once absolutely busted and can attack through walls… now it tickles you. Don’t even know why they nerf weapons when all they do is release more overpowered ones
for me the game started dying the moment they introduced weapon parts in the game and nerfed the 3 cat spam which is one of their worst decisions imo, which in fact didnt solved the problem for new players but only replaced the old good weapons that were way more accesible for f2p players (i was part of them) by new ones that didnt had delay after switching. But what made me quit the game is the trash weapon upgrade system and the overflowing amount of parts to craft weapons. I miss the old days when we had the 3 star weapon upgrade system :')
I played this game for about 6 years and left it year ago the only things that didn’t let me go for the last 1,5 year from leaving this game is clan, nostalgia and weapon collecting. I loved this game it was big part of my childhood. When most of people says “Minecraft is my childhood game” I would say “Pixelgun3d”. It’s so heart breaking to see what devs done to this game 💔
I played this game back in 2014, and a redownloaded the game after 6 years. I even had my old save and everything, but the game was absolutely unplayable as everything that used to be fun was now trying advertise to me, and I couldn’t even compete with any of the low spenders as the PvP pay gap was too wide. It absolutely sucks that my childhood game that I wanted to enjoy again became a cash grab gabbling game. Even grinding felt impossible.
This and Asphalt 8, 2 games that were great between 2013 and 2018, now they're as P2W as P2W can get. Those were games that made me proud to be an IPad kid. Now, I find myself frowning down upon those games as much as I do the term "IPad kid."

I played the game when I was a kid on my first phone I got for secondary and it was amazing back then especially with the co-op game mode where you got a lot for how long you could survive in the games prime I was grinding it on private as there was a bug where you got everything in private and I would gain 1 to 2 levels out of surviving like 50 rounds I think that's how the game mode worked I can't remember tbh it's been too long

They literally has an empire if they decided to do right but got fucking greedy. 2015 to Early 2017 is the gold year of pixel gun from maps, Weapons etc. it was perfect but after mid 2017 everything thorn apart. i still remember the CO-OP map. It is the best way to get coins. i grind that place for my Prototype. And Ghost lantern. Pumpkin Launcher. Good old days.
As someone who played the game heavily and was a part of Fury which was one of the top 3 clans aside from waterfall and virus, and has been playing since 2015-ish, I can say this game has been on a decline for the longest time. I quit the game a long time ago and quite frankly I hope that they have another hacker situation like the game dies hard due to hackers.
I have played this game from 2015-2016 up to 2018 then i re-downloaded it in 2021 because of nostalgia.. Thats when i truly noticed what this game turned into.. A corporate rotting husk that seemingly gets "updated" so the devs can say that they care about their game.. Which is just a shield of propaganda that they think will deflect criticism.. But thank god more and more people are speaking up against them.. Sadly we all know that they wont do anything since they are lazy and they know that people will still keep playing no matter what they do.. (Also to be honest : i kinda forgot that this game even existed until this vid popped up for me)
Could say similar things about WarRobots. Started being pretty great, most of the things it had at 2015 were pretty balanced, but if you enter now its the same as in a lot of other games. New weapon and robot op, you pay, they nerf it, repeat the cycle.
And if you compare how the gameplay was before and after, it's basically a different game. At first it was just a war game with simple robots, to implement modules, then pilots that give abilities to your robot, then titans, which are robots but of a different category and stronger, then drones, and even mother ships. And while that time passed, they also implemented new different purchase currencies for each new thing they added, making the majority, if they did not want to be left behind, buy with real money to keep up with the other players.
Iv been trying so many times to come back to pixel gun 3d but everytime I try to grind to the top it’s such a pain in the ass I don’t wanna play it no more and end up deleting then restarting later

I was a 2015/2016 veteran and I can without a shadow of a doubt say this isnt pixel gun. This is just a game with the same name
I think I played from 2019-2020 until I quit when I got into high school. Looking back, I hate how I wasted time on it in the latter years of the p2w eras. Some time that I’ll never get back.
After accumulating around 8-9k hours on the game and see it fall apart slowly
It feels SO GOOD seeing someone who understands, exactly why the game fell off. I've seen so many vids talking about "the downfall" of pixel gun that see like they were written by someone who either used to play like 6 years ago and never touched it again or someone who just looked up "pixel gun p2w" and went with what they found. Feels refreshing to finally watch someone who played the game and saw the annoying/undefendable details pileup into this mess we have today.

Used to play the game constantly, stopped when it got too pay to win. Came back this past week and enjoyed it (kinda), hit level 50 and cannot play anymore. The game is completely unplayable when you hit level 50 because of pay to win 3cat spammers.
Also, it is impossible to save up currency to buy weapons when you are constantly using all of it to upgrade your weapons, which sucks. If you don’t poop golden bricks, DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME.

I remember playing it between 2013 and 2017. Almost any weapon was a viable choice, max rank was 31. You could buy pretty much every weapon with coins earned through the survival mode or PvP matches. You could host private sessions for 1v1’s. What a time to play this game. I’m so sad to see how bad it has become

Currently there is so many complicated systems in the game and they need to rework the full game to simplify it and reduce the bloat. Try to return it to its simplistic roots from back in the 10’s

Bro another about silent school not having music is that the level in the campaign world 1 level 9 has the music and the Survival mode doesn't have music either but the campaign world 3 level 2 has the music, they're so lazy that they don't even fix it and just focus on getting money.
It got worse now rare guns and legendary guns and epic or all parts form the chest

They took my favorite title out back and aimed for the leg.
The module system is literally rock paper scissors when shooting guns. The skill gap is widen because of its existence as sometimes your weapon will barely do anything to other opponents. And getting them max out is expensive as you have to use coins to level it up. The modules system for me really is the worst aspect of pixel for me

This game used to be good and then they just went for all-out greed. To the point of even straight up copying other things and then just renaming it so they wouldn't get into legal trouble. I remember when this came out and it was really fun to just mess around on and with Survival Games basically being Hunger Games but it didn't really matter at that point. It was all just good fun. And then everything just became unbalanced, pay to win, just scummy greed. It's disgraceful and disheartening to see a childhood game turn into something like this. I remember playing this with my cousin on the iPod Touch whenever I went over to visit him. :')
(Edit: anyone remember back in the day when everyone was using the ghost Lantern because it was a one shot to anything. Lol)

I cannot express how unfair it feels playing this game, every PVP mode is basically unplayable now in the sense that you get absolutely destroyed by little jimmy that used his moms credit card to get the strongest weapon in the game, its still fun to play don't get me wrong but MAN the game really went downhill and turned into pay to win slop.
I quit back when I was in 8th grade. I stopped playing it cause the controls felt stiff and not as maneuverable. Back in 11th grade I returned to it for a bit but deleted it again cause of how lack luster it felt and how op everything is.
I remember so long ago, something happened where a glitch happened that made me able to infinitely open the daily chest, I kept on opening them to hope for thw daily spin gun and I shit you not have never gotten it for like 6 hours of spinning. On the bright side, I got alot of diamonds and coins that I just went on a shopping spree for all the cool weapons at the time, especially the prototype

I remember playing in the 2014-2018 era. I remember the free lottery chest. It’s sad seeing a game with such promise fall into such a state. I remember when primary’s were viable options. I started playing again a few months ago and it’s sad. Plus, people looking to relive their childhood accounts cannot. Most if not all acccounts not in use during an update a while back were erased. Completely.
I miss old pg3d i remember one time i played for the first time in years and i had the old op weapons like the prototype and other things and i immediately got decimated while playing on my favorite map back then
As a game developer who want to start a new game, I also made a replicate version of Pixel Gun 3D and yes I’ll assure you that this game i made is more BALANCED and proper transaction, because I play Pixel Gun 3D game in 2014 and men i miss the OLD version of itself because back that then has more balanced weapons and you don’t even need to paid to make yourself stronger, the armor is what makes you strong enough to fight against with the P2W players, it’s sad because the Pixel Gun 3D we know right now became a gamble and p2w game. I miss the old days.
I remember when I used to play this game. It was fun years ago when I first played it while waiting for my mom in the 'marking center' (just a highschool where teachers gathered to mark exam papers over the summer), but it got too expensive to play. A problem I had with the game over the later years before I stopped was that each level and weapon costed hundreds of coins each but even the most successful matches will only give you 2-5 coins. Good luck if you lost.
Currently I would recommend a fanmade games made with older PG3D source code, and a revival for Pixel Gun World by robdev
As I started 2 days ago, I swear to God I've been put into lobbies where players that are high tier, and also bots should not exist.
I remember when the golden friend was a good weapon, got it out of a lucky create in like 2014 and it was my main weapon till it fell off super hard after some random update I can’t remember ( sometime in 2017 ) Which is around when I stopped playing as well. I remember when the worst thing to come up against was a anti hero rifle, the prototype, and a few others I can’t remember the name of. Now we have the stupid weapon swapping meta and whatnot. Glad I stopped playing back then.

Pet dragon was once absolutely busted and can attack through walls… now it tickles you. Don’t even know why they nerf weapons when all they do is release more overpowered ones
I started playing in 2015 but got addicted to it, spent to much money on it, and now I feel like I can’t delete it
for me the game started dying the moment they introduced weapon parts in the game and nerfed the 3 cat spam which is one of their worst decisions imo, which in fact didnt solved the problem for new players but only replaced the old good weapons that were way more accesible for f2p players (i was part of them) by new ones that didnt had delay after switching. But what made me quit the game is the trash weapon upgrade system and the overflowing amount of parts to craft weapons. I miss the old days when we had the 3 star weapon upgrade system :')

I played this game for about 6 years and left it year ago the only things that didn’t let me go for the last 1,5 year from leaving this game is clan, nostalgia and weapon collecting. I loved this game it was big part of my childhood. When most of people says “Minecraft is my childhood game” I would say “Pixelgun3d”. It’s so heart breaking to see what devs done to this game 💔

I played this game back in 2014, and a redownloaded the game after 6 years. I even had my old save and everything, but the game was absolutely unplayable as everything that used to be fun was now trying advertise to me, and I couldn’t even compete with any of the low spenders as the PvP pay gap was too wide. It absolutely sucks that my childhood game that I wanted to enjoy again became a cash grab gabbling game. Even grinding felt impossible.

This and Asphalt 8, 2 games that were great between 2013 and 2018, now they're as P2W as P2W can get. Those were games that made me proud to be an IPad kid. Now, I find myself frowning down upon those games as much as I do the term "IPad kid."
As someone who played this game in 2016 this game was fun to fight and hangout but now a days it looks very terrible and yet some of the stuff are just not even good the developers are very greedy in my opinion
I played the game when I was a kid on my first phone I got for secondary and it was amazing back then especially with the co-op game mode where you got a lot for how long you could survive in the games prime I was grinding it on private as there was a bug where you got everything in private and I would gain 1 to 2 levels out of surviving like 50 rounds I think that's how the game mode worked I can't remember tbh it's been too long
As A person who played the game for 4 years, it sucks that some Greedy Dev's Took it
But somehow, i still play it for fun since the new event actually gave me 2 Mythic weapons at lvl 12 (The Bow Of Spirits, and the Cooking Totem)
Old player here. It is sad pixel gun goes to the route. They literally has an empire if they decided to do right but got fucking greedy. 2015 to Early 2017 is the gold year of pixel gun from maps, Weapons etc. it was perfect but after mid 2017 everything thorn apart.
i still remember the CO-OP map. It is the best way to get coins. i grind that place for my Prototype. And Ghost lantern. Pumpkin Launcher. Good old days.

As someone who played the game heavily and was a part of Fury which was one of the top 3 clans aside from waterfall and virus, and has been playing since 2015-ish, I can say this game has been on a decline for the longest time. I quit the game a long time ago and quite frankly I hope that they have another hacker situation like the game dies hard due to hackers.
I have played this game from 2015-2016 up to 2018 then i re-downloaded it in 2021 because of nostalgia.. Thats when i truly noticed what this game turned into.. A corporate rotting husk that seemingly gets "updated" so the devs can say that they care about their game.. Which is just a shield of propaganda that they think will deflect criticism.. But thank god more and more people are speaking up against them..
Sadly we all know that they wont do anything since they are lazy and they know that people will still keep playing no matter what they do.. (Also to be honest : i kinda forgot that this game even existed until this vid popped up for me)

Could say similar things about WarRobots. Started being pretty great, most of the things it had at 2015 were pretty balanced, but if you enter now its the same as in a lot of other games. New weapon and robot op, you pay, they nerf it, repeat the cycle.
And if you compare how the gameplay was before and after, it's basically a different game.
At first it was just a war game with simple robots, to implement modules, then pilots that give abilities to your robot, then titans, which are robots but of a different category and stronger, then drones, and even mother ships.
And while that time passed, they also implemented new different purchase currencies for each new thing they added, making the majority, if they did not want to be left behind, buy with real money to keep up with the other players.
But you can still be able to play and enjoy as a f2p player and get to the top playes with your skills and knowledge about the maps.
I started playing PG3D since 2014 and I quit playing the game a few years back. I can’t believe that they have turned this greedy.

As a current member in tk, for clans all you need to is play for 1 hour a day completing your clan tasks and collect income it's not that bad.

If you want more detail about how this game falls off, watch Mint Gaming or Pixel Ecko. They’re Pg3d content creators and also had the same feeling about this game
They still have of maps in the game like pool party, nuke town, paradise resort, and two castles. They never changed these maps as well

at this point I love hackers in this game now, i've played pg3d for like 6 years and this is something I truly hate about this game. hackers. but ever since this new era of pg3d came out I just hope this game gets bombarded with active cheaters or bots unless they change their ways or just dont do anything about it just like how they usually do. until someone uses f2p weapons and kills a max level player
