The abundance of options and ideas is probably my problem. How do i make up my mind and how do i know what will be the best suited idea for me? My goal is to work on a "side hustle" while I'm in school and working full time. I am currently in the research phase and am learning a lot through your videos!
I guess I’m just stuck. I have tons of content knowledge and years of experience offering educational workshops on various topics - but how do I in turn market myself on this service…like what’s the service exactly (ie: which topic there’s a ton and they vary) ? Where/to whom do I offer it?
Very good video Jessica. I am currently branching out from my financial channel to course creation. Also I love your sweater if you have the link do share 😬
A lot of us didn't come from the corporate world. Then what? I was a salon owner who had to give it up due to severe health issues. I've been making crafts and selling them to make ends meet. I haven't done hair for at least 12 years now. So some of us, me, don't actually have any skills we can use to sell anything.
Try the library to see what’s happening in your town or some community colleges. They have some business resources available for the community. You might be able to promote via adult education non-credit programs.
@jessicastansberry, thanks for the helpful info. Can I start using my own name without registering a company and use my PayPal personal account, because anywhere I check for starting anything basics, they ask for a business name. Thanks.
Thank you

oof. I was focusing on the wrong side. So, does creating Skillshare classes count as a service?
Cool content!

Ok sorry I heard the networking but it’s not worked for me. I keep showing off my printables and my website etc. and not sure people want that.

But where do you get the message out? Don’t you still need to start selling yourself?
Tell others about it, friends, family, some towns have Women’s small business centers, etc
&jessicastansberry Fantastic video! Thanks for the suggestions! ❤❤ Just what I need.

I would look at your city or state guidelines for self-employment. You can also try your accountant.
@@bmbrooklyngreat, thanks for the tip. But I want to try things first, at least to start my first paid project.
