To all the usual wannabe-music-critics:Jimmy Page actually wanted to hire Myles Kennedy couple of years ago for a Led Zeppelin tour(Jason Bonham would replace his dad),he invited him to London to jam with him,John Paul Jones & Jason Bonham.Page made him the offer,because he thought Myles is the only one that sounded close enough to Plant.Myles refused,because he thought that a Zeppelin tour without Plant wouldn't be right.I think that shows what a great singer and class act this guy is.
I really feel like the combination of Myles Kennedy and Slash is the new Robert Plant and Jimmy Page. Slash is an amazing guitarist and Myles Kennedy's voice really compliments his style of playing.
Damn. I came here from the original version of this song, totally expecting to be disappointed in whoever was on vocals, and all I can say is wow. While no one can top Robert Plant, this guy did a fine job on this cover.
