When the Vietnam era seniors get to that point in their lives where the kids and grandkids do not want these cars, there’s going to be a lot of these type of finds.
Agree. The few that remain won’t be around for much longer as the owners of these old collections are pretty much all 80+ years old. When they pass it is typically the surviving spouse or kids that sell the cars. The good part of this is that the cars and collections get out of the barns and garages and into the hands of car lovers who will get them back running!
Wow, that was a nice find. There is a warehouse on commerce Avenue in Longview Washington that has about 60 cars in it and I would say at least 20 of them are Corvettes just like these Corvettes?
The previous owner _really_ liked 65s and 66s. Nice job! My hands are full with just one midyear. If you have a spare L79 block....A tip though- don't jack a midyear up from the crossmember under the engine. I know, we all did this to our GM A-bodies. But the C2 frame isn't an A-body frame. Not only will it get dented most likely, but the weight distribution can make things spread apart. Sure, people do it all the time on a C2. Not worth the risk though.
Most decorated NCRS judge is my dad Weldon or Monty Montgomery. He passed in December at 94. Left us 3 kids a car from the year we were born. 61, 3 and 5.
What an incredible find! I came across your channel via Barnfinds that had a writeup about the black '63 and a link to your eBay ad, which in turn led me here.. and what a treat. This has to be one of the most epic barn finds in the history of barn (or in this case garage and basement) finds ever. And thanks so much for filming this Ms. Allison.. great job! I was in my mid teens when most of these beauties rolled off the assembly line so this has been a real treat to watch. Thanks again to all from a new fan of vintage cars and barn finds from sunny AZ. 🤠👍
About 5 years ago my neighbor passed away and they had me clean up all the junk in the yard and garage. I got 3 396 motors a 348,409 about 7 small block Chevys and a 67 Vette with a 409. I never knew it next door to me.
Pause 16:41 You see that round hole to the left of the radiator in the core support?? That my friends is a fuelie car. The tac gave it away first too me but that breather ductwork hole in the core support nailed it. This girl no's her C-2 & C-3. To the trim screws.😅
Thanks to all of you for sharing this amazing video and your wife for filming it. I just sat there shaking my head in disbelief, especially the sheer volume of parts etc. I "found" you guys when I saw the first flooded Trans Am video and have really enjoyed everything you've done since. Looking forward to seeing the coming updates on this haul. More power to you, Steve in New Zealand
Th@nks, especially, I like another Viewpoint(s)….but, Yes, lots of Interesting treasure.. interestingly, we relocated to HELENA, Mt ::: a different bunching of treasure. Vehicles , etc.
Thanks, interestingly, nice to save a lot of this from decay & degradations…..Oddly, some of this “ hoarding”, “” Collecting , projects “ has been a boon to some Companies & Car salesman, etc.!!
hello great find i showed a bit to my friend he pointed out the move alone with no damage is very very costly also ,,he kept telling me you have to really know what your doing GREAT LUCK boyz
What a fabulous find and video! I can't imagine what you had to pay for this incredible lot of cars and parts. I look forward to the completion of the '65 Marina/Nassau Blue Coupe.
Best episode EVER!!!! Well, good for you! Amazing that this can actually still happen. Back in my day we had to move to California and pan for gold, nowadays it's all this crazy thing!!! I hope you do a more detailed video later on!
27:05 your wife is a saint. You guys are out there hustling. I love it not only hustling all of you guys are on the same page you all work hard n all work together. I love your videos. I do miss the copo I know I know I do have the t. Shirt. Good score what ever you paid was definitely worth it thank. You for sharing especially. Your wife for filming. Happy 4 th. If July to all. N God bless america
Oh yeah! We just finished something like this when my uncle passed away but with nova stuff. A collection just like this but tripple the parts and double the cars! Takes forever to go through everything.
Awesome Hoard of Vette’s and parts. I bet your Mom will claim the Convertible with the duckbill spoiler for her everyday runner. It’s sharp with the triplet taillights and the side pipes setup and flairs. Great Videos Thank You 🙏
I've literally been having the same dream since I was a kid in the 80s that someone calls me and tells me to come get all the stuff! When I get to the place it's all 63-7 stuff with several cars and I can't figure out where to start!!!! I think that's what heaven must be like!!!! Just corvettes and 70 chevelles everywhere!!! Don't worry bro, there will be Willys coupes everywhere too!!!😮
Incredible. I wanted a mid year car about 20 yrs ago but could not afford it. Settled for a 1970. I've gone thru every nut and bolt on the chassis and still have to finish the car. Great design. No rust fiberglass body. Initial plan was for a 540 big block, but I have since backed down from that much motor. IMO the Corvette of that era was easily the best car GM ever developed, and may be the best car of all time.
that's nothing compared to when i bought my 63 roadster from a fella in kentucky over 20 yrs ago-he had around 50 mid year vetts in a huge barn-hardly had room to walk between them-let my wife pick out the one she wanted then of course had to completely restore it-a true barn find
Im sorry, but this is some crazy talk theatre! I understand one or two cars but that many just sitting there? Unreal! Thats a goldmine worth of Vettes!!
I am a hoarder just like the person that hoarded all these cars. The only difference is, in my garages I have old lawn mowers, snow throwers etc., etc., that are worth about $120 dollars on a good day. This guy I think hoarded a gold mine. Same problem, different results.
Amazing, I've been accused of hoarding & it definitely runs in my family, but wow what an incredible story, you've just got another sub just so I can find out what happens next, Rj in Oz
You have to loop around the tires with the straps. Straps are known for stretching. They all stretch which happens. They could fall off the tire and you loose your load. Odds are it doesn’t happen but if it does. I’m not an expert just have taken towing courses with the largest towing company in North America. This is how it was explained. I’ve had straps come loose but didn’t loose the load.
@@6or1822:43 is on the top of the tires not around them. they didn’t loop the strap around the tires. Like I said probably not all going to come loose. But if it ever does your 100% liable. If you look at a flat deck tow truck which does this all day song they strap around the tires. Where those moving/hauling straps cause they where not tire straps. You can actually purchase tire straps which are designed to go around the tires. Or if your good at knots you can use those straps with the proper knot and loop which will tighten around the tire.
Im looking for a C2 project to. I think i will have to go look locally in the states, because the ones online all want the jackpot. These things are getting harder to find by the day
Where about in MI are you? I used to live in the Metro area but moved west to Lake Michigan lake shore, I’m always on the lookout for Finds like this, not that I could buy a find like this, but just to see a garage like that is way to cool😊
That is awesome! Your uncle seemed like a cool guy! Wish we could have talked to him about the cars I’m sure he has some great story’s. We’ve already got 2 cars running, (one not running so well lol) that will be our next video we post!
I’m amazed most of the wheels still turned on the cars. Pretty common for the brakes to rust up freezing the wheels up! I can only imagine what you guys had to pay for all of these! Those 2 original teak steering wheels are worth about $1500 each alone!
Winner, winner Chicken dinner 😊 I like the black one, The blue one, And the green one, Definitely hit the Jack pot, How did you beat Dennis Collins on this?

Jordan, How were you guys able to get first dibs on this stuff? Had y’all known about the cars and asked them to call you if they ever decided to sell? Curious to know how the deal transpired. Congratulations on the purchase. That gentleman had acquired a heck of a lot of stuff. It couldn’t go to a better place.
@@HorsepowerDepot Thanks for getting back to me. Sure proud for you guys. Couldn’t have gone to better new owners. Again, congratulations on the purchase! On another note, are you about ready to make some laps in your 67? I’m looking forward to an 8.99 @ 152 or there about’s.
Hard to believe there are garages around the country like this still in existence 🤯🤯

Great video. Interesting that the 66 Coupe 390hp car looks like it has been painted either 1965 Glen Green or 1967 Goodwood Green.
We were also thinking Goodwood Green. It was originally Silver Pearl
