When he went and assaulted her again, the Crown should have been charged as an accessory to violent assault.
Why? If she won’t make a statement or prosecute, their hands were tied..
@@johncspine2787
Here in the USA, with CCTV of good quality like that, he could have been prosecuted whether or not she pressed charges. If there is DV, the LEOs must arrest the primary aggressor. It's obvious that the lack of support, or should I say total abandonment of the LEOs is so evident that it's palpable. IDK why anyone would want to work under those circumstances. SMH.
As far as I'm aware, the rules have now changed that CPS will charge even without a victims support because of a couple cases where they followed this stupid rule and the partner ended up killing the victim
What a shame. No charges for assault and battery. 😢
It's not shame, it's an absolute DISGRACE!
How demoralizing for committed police officers to have to let Mr.Headkicker waste their time in revolving-door justice system. In a few years it will go from short staffed to no staff.
What a sad, sad episode..
"I've been here before.. I'm not stupid. I've been here many times.." 🙄
Seems like being here "many" times before would be the very definition of being stupid, sport. 🤦🏻♀️
@@cmtippens9209 A first class idiot
Classic! That really made me chuckle!
@@cmtippens9209 INSANITY, that used to be "Insanity" , repeating behaviors and actions expecting a different result.. I'm just thankful my children know fire burns, and people can't fly 😂
"You work for me!" The constant cry of the ignorant.
What a weak, weak, frightened justice system is that! Thanks though to the police who are trying to keep people safe, and not being supported or encouraged doing it!!!!!!!!!!!
Ahhh!! So ... if someone hasn't breached any laws within the past year, they could commit murder - or attempted murder as in the case of the man who punched and kicked his girlfriend - rape, etc. etc. without being prosecuted?? Horrendous!! Absolutely horrendous. Thank God you guys are still persevering in doing your duty, in spite of the lawyers and legal system who don't give a crap about human lives...
Good, hard working cops. Lousy courts in the UK. Small wonder recidivism is so high there.
I really don't understand that law
I agree. Politicians are too weak.
I Am A Brit Now Living In Australia. I Totally Agree With You 100%
@welshcake2859 what state?
MORE decent law enforcing Police is needed, people like these guys are needed more than ever to deal with a broken society. Respect is the least we can give them.
I’m so sorry you guys have to deal with that insanity! On our side of the pond that is clearly aggravated assault with intent of severe bodily harm or death (a class 2 felony) punishable with up to 20 years imprisonment. Shame on the prosecutor or the antiquated law.
Feral child is right.
I admire that police officer with the mask for the interview with that scumbag for abusing that poor woman..the kick made me cry..I’m 44 male
What in heaven's name has happened to the UK!!!!
I agree. I was born in UK and left fifty two years ago and have never been back . Do you wonder why not?
It’s totally screwed sadly. Left years ago and very thankful I did.
The crowns decision should get THEM arrested for failure to do THEIR duty!!
Pray God he is now her ex. 3 week relationship - ridiculous drunk abuser. Apparently he can’t beat her up again for a year. Totally bizarre system!
So sad for young kids to end up like that. Many people have kids when they shouldn
Chloe and colleagues, stand to one side when approaching a door where FA's are thought to be.
Loving this series
When I lived in north east England in the seventies, a guy beating on his woman like this wouldn't even make it to a police station.
The responding officers would do a little re-educating of their own with no witnesses.
Back then If a wife walked into a police station to report spousal violence they would simply send her straight back to him with no charges filed
Piss poor pathetic justice system in that country, allowing the guilty to walk free and the innocent to suffer in fear of retribution.
It’s refreshing to see police acting to arrest unruly people instead of wasting time trying to be nice to them. I have watched American police and they don’t seem to be able to deal with things so quickly, they talk and talk and let the suspect scream and shout a swear on and on. I don’t support violence but firm decisive action is needed 💎
Then I just watched the end and the court system makes a mockery of all the hard and dangerous work the police do.
If there is a shortfall of duty officers why are the senior officers not brought in to fill the shortages get off their asses and do what they are there for.
My heaven, I thought our Justice System here in the States was bad, but clearly, the UK is in a deeper hole than we are.
Toughy with the little boy blue shorts and spindly legs. So brave and manly!
The big guy wearing a nike hoodie calling the police pigs🤔🙄
This guy is the Darryl Brooks of Britain 40:00
Wondering what CPS is in Britain. In US and Canada it is Child Protective Services. These criminals and victims all seem to be ‘chronologically adults’
It’s Criminal Prosecution service
Crown Prosecution Service. It's very similar to the D.A.'s office in the States. I've known what it is forever, but whenever I'm watching British shows, I have to do some mental gymnastics to not think Child Protective Service.
I'll bet that if that young woman was related to any of the CPS, they'd have him charged in a heartbeat. 😡
It appals me that domestic violence, partner violence, is simply shoved under the carpet. That is despicable. What is wrong with your CPS?
Wow how did that guy get to beat that woman on camera and in front of witnesses and not get charged?
Law needs to be made for DV that it doesnt matter if they wont press charges, the police can press charges, especially with CCTV evidence
I feel the c.p.s. should have charged the person who viciously attacked his partner with GBH with intent, not drop the charges.
And the CPS officer should be sued when the attachs again. Because there will be a next time
It amazes me that the Police Services in your country and mine work their butts off to get scum off the streets, protect vulnerable people, then CPS, does not follow through, holding people accountable.
Watching in The Netherlands

That's really crazy!!
"I've been here before, I'm not stupid." Well, apparently you're an idiot if you keep going back!!!
They need to charge aggressors even if the victim declines to charge.
Would those ear devices not potentially cause brain damage?. Well done cops.
Im going to be polite. That's so wrong in so many ways. Its frustrating when you do your job and the criminal walks.
and they gave a him a lift home!. The copper ( thats British slang for policeman for our American friends ) was livid and rightly so. Our criminal justice system letting the victim down, then giving the perpetrator a taxi ride. God help us all.
Princess Chloe's an empathetic individual, I'd say.
With any luck the Soliciter will get some Karma
DV has been happening before pandemic…problem is a lot DV came to light during pandemic…sad for these women some just can’t get out of it…
I'm sorry, but I can't believe what happened when the chap was discharged, and was taxied home, or somewhere to ......,
and the youth and his cohorts! If he'd been my son, I'd have been in touch with all of his friends' families, hoping that we could sort them out together!
I'm maybe naive, but I've brought up 2 boys who now live respectable family lives!
Why Do They Send A Female Police Officer Out On Their Own To Deal With Violent Men/Women !!!, Personally I Think It Is Stupid.
Why do you send a male police officer out on their own to deal with a violent men/women, women want equal rights then this is part of it
Perhaps if it was the Wife of someone in the CPS he would have been held.
Chole light weight officer.
And a snotty one, to boot. She needs to get a job selling make up at Boots or something. Not the most intelligent of people and has no business in the Police Force.
You get what you vote for
Utterly failed system. The CPS should face charges of assault and be fined 1,000,000 pounds for dereliction of duty leading to bodily harm
George Soros must be in England.
