You should have picked cow dung, its like 5 dollars and some change. Mum is doing an awesome job. Am also creating my first kitchen garden, using galvanized containers. Next time, buy seeds and start them in your balcony or garage. Its much cheaper and you'll have more to choose from. That's what I do.

Seedlings are very expensive. I buy seeds for about $15.00 and grow them myself.
