Hi- can there be a combination of RCC and mud house in case an old rcc structure already exists and one wants to rebuild/extend it? Or can mud structures only be built from scratch?

It looks like it could be in Brazil ….help, wtf is this place 😮 feeling inspired and I need to know more about… process, materials, design inspiration…is it a new build or a renovation.
