I set sail on the Celebrity Apex in Rome, Italy (Civitavecchia) for a 12-night cruise to the Eastern Mediterranean. This was my second time on Celebrity Apex, which was my first cruise with Celebrity Cruises back in 2021. This time I was headed to Greece, Turkey, Israel, and Cyprus on this exciting voyage on Celebrity Apex.

I just did this cruise in May. It was the Italy and Greece cruise. Love the Greek isles...Santorini, Rhodes, Myknonos Athens, Naples and Rome....I loved the Ruins in Greece and the food was amazing. I did the same sites as in your video in Athens also did the Theater ruins.... I was most disappointed with Athens because of how EXTREMELY crowded the roads and highway was...Also there is Graffiti all over the place...Just turned me off...But the Greek isles were amazing.

Can't wait for the food video. Thanks for another great video. Oh, and another commenter asked about the solo/double cost; I am curious as well if you had to pay double for your stateroom. Beautiful scenery!
Thanks for watching! I did have to pay more than the price for one person but I don’t think it was quite double. Sometimes they will offer “supplements” to the solo rate.
Ohhh, I'm so excited for Ephesus! Obviously, this one was great too. We will be there on the Reflection in June of 2023. I may look for a third-party excursion or a do-it-yourself mode of transportation...we'll see. Haven't been on the Apex yet, we've been on the Edge and have the Beyond booked for December 2023. I agree that Celebrity outdid themselves with the Edge class of ships. We're just dying to meet Captain Kate! Hoping she's on the Beyond in December 2023. Thanks a bunch, Zach!

I feel like I'm always a few weeks behind you Zach! I was on the Apex last August doing the same route you did from Athens and did this cruise in Oct, just a few weeks after you - as well. We did mostly independent visits including Jerusalem - look forward to seeing what you did in Israel.

Hi I like it more with you narrating vs the music. Being u are a solo cruiser are u paying double or taking advantage of Celebrity solo Cabins? Hope you are having a great time.!
I take advantage of the solo cabins when I can. Otherwise I’m paying double unless there is a solo supplement available.
