Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on RUclips, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on RUclips. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on RUclips, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.
If you enjoy this video and my reactions make sure you subscribe to the channel, like the video and comment down below which video you would like to see me react to next.

The thing I love about this song is how the singer is trying to hide the fact that he's still deeply attached to her. Repeating "don't think twice" four times... protesting a bit too much, I think.

Dylan's lyrics are so incredibly good that they often distract us from noticing his equally masterful harmonica work. The emotions he can evoke from such a seemingly simple device are further proof of his unique talent.

    • @ptournas
      @ptournas Год назад

Yes, he had a very distinctive and effective style on the harmonica. His first two appearances on professional recordings were as a harmonica player, first on several tracks of Carolyn Hester's third album in late 1961, then 6 months later in 1962, on Harry Belafonte's recording of "The Midnight Special" on his album of the same name. Though it was recorded later, the Belefonte album was released first.

Another mini masterpiece from Dylan's second album, which was his first album of all original material. It's an incredible album and still relevant songs 60 years later. Incredible. How many artists these days are capable of producing music that will still resonate 6 decades later? That's Dylan's genius.

If you haven't, check out Diamonds And Rust by Joan Baez. She and Dylan were a couple for a while, the King and Queen of the folk music world in the 60s. The song is about her relationship with him, and their break up. There is a lyric video version with photos of them together. His song Just Like A Woman is said to be about her.

Of the Dylan songs you've listened to, I thought it'd be fun to rate them.
Hurricane - 1st place. Great sounding.
Don't Think Twice, It's All Right - Every line is a killer.
Blowin' in the Wind - Historically Great
The Times They Are A-Changin' - Historically Great
A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall - - Historically Great. there's a later version from the Rolling Thunder Tour which is possibly even better.
Highway 61 Revisited - Love the first verse. "God said, "The next time you see me you better run"."
Mr Tambourine Man - Another historically great one. The Byrds may have a better version.
Like a Rolling Stone - Everybody's favorite. It doesn't quite hit with me.
My Back Pages - Another Byrds' song.
Sara - I like it references an older song "Writing Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlands" for you.
It's Alright Ma (I'm only Bleeding) - a borderline 'skip it' song for me.
    Jokerman - what's to like.
Masters of War - too slow.
Desolation Row - too long, too dreary
Murder Most Foul - even longer
In my opinion, so many better songs than ones I listed at the bottom.
    Subterranean Homesick Blues
    Knockin' On Heaven's Door
    Tangled Up in Blue
Most Likely You Go Your Way and I'll Go Mine
It's All Over Now Baby Blue
Lily Rosemary and the Jack of Hearts
    She Belongs to Me
Shelter From the Storm (studio or Rolling Thunder live)
    Black Diamond Bay
All I Really want to Do
Maggie's Farm (studio version and the two live versions, All pretty different)
New Pony (I didn't realize how good this was until Jack White covered it with The Dead Weather)
    Political World
Tight Connection to My Heart (or Someone's Got a Hold of My Heart)
    Many, many more....
