I think he's just as good as danny was. His screams In my opinion are pretty damn good. I would say that he needs to work on stamina. You can tell he gets breathless quite a bit. But that comes with time . I think he suits the band perfectly they made a good decision putting him in the band. Cant wait to hear more.

I miss Danny, but I have to admit. AA have never sounded better, tighter, and more full. This is a top notch performance of this song, the best I've seen them do in years. I think Denis gave them the push the needed

Danny has a little bit of a better voice than Denis, but Denis puts on a hell of a show while Danny never gave a shit
Something to keep in mind, this is pretty early in Denis' career with AA and he was not use to playing full sets at this time so it took a pretty heavy toll on him. Also this is warped tour, playing 30 minute sets for 3 months straight will wear out any vocalist, especially one handling cleans and screams. This is just my personal opinion though
Don't understand how Denis always gets shat on. He has unbelievable range in his screams and cleans. He knows the material in and out. And to come in to one of the biggest bands today and still be able to keep it afloat is amazing. He's a talent you don't just find anywhere. The difference from his covers from years ago to now are so much different and you can see how much he's improved. I love Danny but give Denis props man.

Yeah he's definitely perfect for stand up and scream songs.. Everything else he's a little weird singing I think. Reckless and Relentless and From Death to Destiny songs seem more towards Dannys "rock n roll" style of singing which Denis really can't pull off... HIs cleans are also being destroyed by screaming this way.. Dude is clearly not used to screaming which is fine, but It sucks cause I feel like if that's the case they should've gotten a screamer and Denis on cleans.. I dunno. Lol. His highs are pretty cool, his lows were always weak though, hence forth the constant cupping lol

Big facts
Denis is pretty damn good. Needs to build up some stamina to sing more of the song and so he's not so.... breathless. no pun intended. But I think after a while he's gonna go freaking far and own the stage
His growls are so much better than Danny’s their lower and sounds like he puts more power into them
All the people whining that his screams are bad and he can't sing and blah blah blah, keep in mind that even at 9:00 at night It is still 110 degrees outside and it is hot as hell so until you're in asking alexandria doing what he is doing. Please shut up and if you don't like it, leave. Its as simple as that. I was there that day from 8 a.m. till 10 p.m. it was hotter then he'll and hanging out with them after, the first thing the told me was the heat was the most intense thing about preforming

At that point in the performance, his voice was exhausted because, even with proper technique, singing and screams while simultaneously running and going nuts, is exhausting so he needs something to help him out.
Alot of this comment section did NOT age well. That aside, Denis did a pretty good job here. Kid had some chops... things just didn’t pan out for him and AA
i think he sounds fine. everyone wants someone that sounds just like danny, but i say let them do them. bands change and evolve all the time. look at killswitch. their second singer was nothing like their first. still made great music.

If you look at the more recent live videos, Dennis has improved greatly and now beats Danny comfortably. Plus the band as a whole are happier and that's the most important thing. Give the kid his time to fit and he'll take the band into a new era.

I can see why people are hating Dennis because they are used to Danny but come on really ? Dennis is trying n actually gives a better vibe in his performance than danny. Brandon Lee I thought I heard a backing track playing here in Nashville, so I’m glad you mentioned it. My question is this…is the backing track the original with Danny's vocals or did they record all new tracks with Denis? They put on a good show here in Nashville, it seemed short but it was enjoyable. Final note: Denis doesn't have the stage presence or swagger Danny has IMO. I am glad that AA is doing what they can to move forward, although to them I would imagine it feels like backtracking to prove themselves all over again. Nonetheless, I suppose I will just have to give this new version of AA some time to sink in.

Personally, I'm not really a fan of Denis. He doesn't have the right sound for these songs. These songs were meant for Danny and the way his voice is and Denis makes it kind of sound like shit. No offense to him but I think if he's the new singer it might be better to chance their sound to better fit his. I'm not happy that Danny left. Danny was meant for this band. Danny didnt want to be in AA anymore. Asking Alexandria isnt his band, he persued more interest in his band We Are Harlot. Plus Danny brought all of the members down and he ruined numerous shows by showing up drunk and acting like a complete dipshit. I love Danny but come on, he left Asking Alexandria because that wasnt his passion and honestly he left for the better.
