Liz is now waging war on two fronts: Football vs Soccer and Chips vs Crisps vs Fries
Justice is waging war on everything. Even Coffee vs tea
@@kamal_jabshiori just puts in water, meanwhile kaela adds in bittergourd juice.
WTF IS GOING ON IN THERE?!!
Soccer can't win, literally the entire planet says football. Americans ignore that almost nobody except them really plays "American football"
I'm not a British but I definitely agree on football and chips/crisps since it makes more sense
@@kamal_jabdon't forget Cece's "it's not as big as I thought" and Gigi's "is this edging?" incidents. Yagoo really put together a suicide squad to go capture Advent 😂
Exodia? the forbidden one?
IT'S NOT POSSIBLE
NOBODY HAS BEEN ABLE TO SUMMON HIM!!!
yep, that one
yes you know, the 2nd generation of Hololive JP
You mean the exited one?......... alright I'm gonna get out.
If you order 5 packets of crisps you can summon Great Exodia and you win pub night.
Bro my stomach hurts
She needs to summon Merryweather and Mim. Mim is Jesse Grelle and is a VA. He can easily do Kami-Yugi, it's spot on and Merry does a very good English version of Maximillion Pegasus. Lizzy already knows CyYu I think because he popped in on her Valo stream. Pretty sure she could do an impression competition with AmaLee, CyYu and any other VA VTuber out there.
I also checked out her credits on IMDB she has at least 40 credits a lot of it is Indie projects, but also some series work as well.
vruh stop help can't stop laughing when I heard really got me so bad I can't 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
IIIIIIIII... I (UUUURRRP!!!) SUMMON... FUCKIN... FUCKIN... EXOiDER-(falls over)
Everyone else: "French fries!" Britain: "I'll give the French credit for that over my cold, dead body."
Edit: Dear God, the amount of "UHM, ACKSHUALLY".... I was making a goofy joke about history of Brit/French rivalry people, you don't need to furiously fact check it.
It's not even French >>
Belgians at the side seeing how French people take they culinary plates from them. The waffle and fries. Even the French doors are Italian.
Americans: "everyone else" (actually just them)
If potatoes fried inolive oil come from somehwere in europe it ahs to be either Spain or italy. The two countries that historically have extensively cultivated and produced olive oil. And spain si the most likely one. Since it is where potatoes frist arrived from the americas.
In Japan they literally just call them 'poteto', which cracks me up.
I love how innocently she just went with Great Exodia. Bless Raora.
"Isn't a sandwich a burger?"
Raora casually starting a culture war
i mean a burger is a sandwich if you go by the definition of a sandwich.
I mean, the burger is sort of the meat patty itself technically, but can also refer to that patty in a bun, which is a type of sandwiches technically, but not all sandwiches are burgers.
Speaking of the patty itself, japanese even have this burger patty on a hotplate and called it hamburg steak
@@markburton5292 There be dangers if you go by definitions.
Pasta is made from flour and water, which means that pasta is basically bread. Lasagna is made of alternating layers of pasta, meat and cheese. Ergo, by the transitive property, Big Mac is lasagna.
@@Shadesight yup pasta is unleavened boiled bread.
two pints of lager and a packet of crisps. that's a reference that liz was trying to get out but refrained herself

How's that for a slice of fried gold?
chippy usually doesn't stay open late, the real meta is to grab a kebab from takeaway
@@Zeberai donner is peek, but its so greasy tho. Cheesy chips are always an option. I hear the Germans are really big on the kebabs.
Was so nice to just sit back and understand every word. Chippy, crisps, butty. Let me just let out a contented sigh. Never leave Liz!!!
Happy for you oddly though despite residing on the USAs western coast because I work overnight I think Justices streaming hours kinds work best for me except for Raora she streams when I work basically
@@DanielGonzalez-vo5ni It's good the time suits you then because they are a definitely entertaining Gen. Usually if I am busy I can only watch clips since most streams are JP time or US time and none suit me. So having this Gen fit my time is a nice change of pace.
For a second I thought you said continental sigh and I almost grabbed my musket.
Funny enough every one calls battered fish and fries, "fish and chips."
Because that's the name of the dish. You wouldn't call hamburger a Hamburg steak Sandwiches
You would never have fries though. Chunky chips only.
@@kamal_jabpeople don’t always follow the original name. We call a food salisbury steak while Japan calls it a burger or steak
also because everyone else calls those chips
same way those seppo freaks call chicken burgers sandwiches
ayo this convo finally came into Hololive
glad to see HoloEU thriving
Liz now has the Aru face too
Aru mentioned
Raora's laughter can heal anything i swear to god..
Now her divine voice makes all sense, she is from EXODIA!
Slight correction: at 0:21 Raora says "In the Romance Empire" which is where she's canonically from. All the girls in Justice are from fictionalized versions of real world countries/regions.
1:03
its kind of amazing that you can see the exact moment she gets it
Justice is gonna cause so many bar fights.
The small difference between British chips and French/Belgian fries are the size of the potato cut.
Fries are thinner.
French fries 🍟
So chips are what the Americans call “steak fries”
@@pxtable sometimes "potato boats"
@@pxtablesteak cut chips are really thick cut. Normal chips are about 1-2cm/1/2" thick, fries are usually only about 6 mm.
We will never admit they're French, as they stole the idea from the Belgians, who Betrayed us as the Burgundian Empire in the Hundred years war. Never forgetti Agincourt Spaghetti
you get fries from maccies and chips from chippy, simple as
Are we not gonna talk about burger being the same as sandwich?

Eh, the Patty Melt is a thing.
i mean they're both two pieces of bread with stuff inside
a sandwich isn't necessarily a burger but a burger is a type of sandwich
Cucumber on pizza 🤣🤣🥒🥒
You know it's serious when Raora is losing the conversation and decides to summon the great exodia xD
She is so aggressively British lol
It’s so nice having a Brit in hololive, I feel so represented.
Chip butty is amazing.

Hololy Raoran Empire
Raora: puts French fries on pizza
Lizzy: puts French fries into a sandwich and calls it chip butty.
These two are approaching Ririka levels of cousine.
The first one is just something done in italy, though I only ever saw it happen in naples.
@@vyor8837 italian here. it's super normal and common. you can find pizza with fries everywhere
@@jyxleaf9732 fair enough, just didn't visit enough pizarias when I was up north to check. I lived in Naples for 2 years, so obviously I visited plenty *there*
ERB gonna be teaching errbody about chips and crisps haha. I’m here for that
Raora is saying that burgers and sandwiches are the same because in Italian we call both "panini". Each type of bread has its name and that's what we usually use ("pane arabo", "tartaruga", "treccia", etc) to distinguish them.
America: Fries and Chips.
UK: Chips and Crisps.
Meanwhile, down here in Australia: Chips and Chips.
Crisps makes sense because it is crisp.
No, no it isn't. It's a french cut potato that is fried. Crisp would imply that it snaps and crunches, which they don't do.
@@vyor8837 That's fries/chips, crisps are crispy and should never not be crispy
The crisps(chips) do make sense. Chips(as potato fries), on the other hand don't make sense. Most definitions of chip involve broken peices that fall off from the process of cutting or breaking. Chips(fries) are the output from cutting the potato and not broken peices, so it doesnt make sense to call them chips.
@@HellBent_ ... Fuck, brain no worky sometimes
@@roberttallafer2299 if you put something through a chipper, what you get at the other side is thick bits of that item, which works for thick-cut chips. Fries, on the other hand, makes no sense - why name that one thing after its cooking method? you can get fried eggs and bacon too, so why not call them fries too? "Can I get a couple of fries, with a fry and a side of fries please". Then we can have some bakes, and a blended to drink.
I love that holoEN is pulling talents from different parts of the world and we can get moments like this
Lizzy: "The chippy"
Me: "CHIPPI CHAPPA DUBBI DABBA-"
You speak the language of the Gigi is now my favorite quote in the world.
Raora is my soulmate in screwing up place names!
Elizabeth: "You speak the language of the Gigi."
Gigi: "EXODIA! OBLITERATE!"
It's like Bae and "Hot Chips" again😂
There is the chip butty... but we have failed to mention that there is also the crisp butty too, the truest of delicacies!
Meanwhile, Chaos, End of ends and a certain North Elythian: "They are called Chips and Hot Chips"
This was too funny!! Love it!!! 🤣🤣🤣
**Is Italian**
**Refers back to the Roman Empire to compensate**
Holy crap this really is turning into Hetalia
"isn't sandwich a burger?"
the italian education system failure has reached the anime industry too
I mean, technically she isn't wrong. A burger is a type of sandwich but not all sandwiches are a burger.
Technically raora ain't wrong tho ? The description of both meals are pretty much the same
@@ArphaliaAll burgers are sandwiches, but not all sandwiches are burgers...
It's just a revenge after years and years of americans saying "panini" instead of "panino"...without even knowing that it just means sandwich in italian...

It's really refreshing to have some additional cultures added to Hololive~. After all, bringing fans (and talents) together from all over the world, even past language barriers, is my favorite thing about Hololive~
~
As a fellow Brit, explaining this to the rest of the world hurts my soul every time 😔
Because it hurts being wrong?
They're french fries because they are frenched and then fried. Frenched being a type of cut, frying being a method of cooking. This as opposed to potato wedges, crinkle cuts, and curly fries.
We call the Fish n Chips shop Chippy
A CHEEPEEE???
"Isn't a sandwich a burger?"
Oh boy. Raora's cluelessness is just adorable. 😅
The second she said 'crisps' I dropped my phone and went to wash my hand in the bathroom.

🎵The Chippy, Chippy, Chappa, Chappa🎶
Raora's laugh gives me life
Headcannon: Elizabeth's fire is where the voice comes from, but she still has to learn to move her mouth so no one notices.
We need a collab with Calli, Bae, and Liz and have Bae start talking about chips since it can go either way
Might as well throw in the Canadians to maximise the potential for confusion...
raora:"Isn't a sandwich a burger?" ......well.... Touché

Anytime i hear Fish n' Chips I just think about the Great Ace Attorney.

You don't call them chips, they're crisps
Can't name a more iconic duo than Italians and putting stuff on flat breads. No... literally, you can't, since we have them putting pomegranate and proto-pesto on flat bread in Pompeii. Both ashfied remains in a cucina and a fresco in one of the houses.

The whole "chips and crisps" thing is something everyone with an Australian or British friend goes through I'm sure, I know I did with my Aussie friend ages ago. It's so funny being able to witness that moment for the first time with Justice though lol.

In the same way that calling soda several different things across the majority of the US. The idea that a Brit and Italian can't agree on certain names for the same thing somehow warms my heart
Cucumber on pizza, well, it's better than putting pineapple on it...
lies. cucumbers only belong in someone else's garden or plate
Disagreed, that's way more wrong. Not that I'm a hawaiian pizza lover or anything
I'm flashing back to the cucumber pizza bit from Seinfeld
I’ve had cucumber on pizza before, well technically pickles. It was a Nashville hot chicken pizza and they had pickles on it as well. It wasn’t bad but not a good combo for pizza.
Now I'm hankerin' for fish 'n chips.

Australia has chips, chips and chips. We separate the normal two footballs with soccer and gridiron for American football. However, we still cannot decide if rugby or AFL should be called "football".
We also get fish and chips here but it tends to be seasoned with "chicken salt" a yellow garlic-y salt originally used to season rotisserie chickens, over using vinegar over there.
