Ahhh - we just went on a road trip to New England to look at colleges for our daughter and 2 different people recommended Eventide in Portland, ME. And yes I think it is from there. It was so incredible that even though we had a couple of lobster rolls, a dozen and a half oysters, the New England clam bake we still ordered another lobster roll with the check! I agree with your breakdown of why it is so good 100 percent. We also had Luke’s Lobster in Portland whose rolls sounded a lot like the Yankee Lobster place and also same as ones we had on the high line years ago which I think was from a place in Chelsea Market. Ironically, after eating lobster all over the Maine coast for a few days, we went down to Boston to visit Tufts and our hotel was right near the Eventide and Yankee Lobster places you visited!
Best lobster rolls in Boston are from the dirty old cheap spots. Every year there's less dirty old food spots and real honest old-school Boston folk can barely afford any of these big restaurants taking over. Rents too high and stuff is getting too yuppie. Diners and pubs til death
@@BrunchBoys i said the same thing. It's v tragic b/c I used to love shrimp in particular as a kid.... So now I watch ppl eat seafood instead. #lowkeytorture
dude...it would've been a perfect video if there was a lot less smacking of lips... I have a major sickness listening to people smack their lips while eating...
Really? “Nothing lamer?” Your gripe with the video is the guy providing the content YOU clicked on, used one hand while eating a sandwich?? That is quite lame dude. Much more lame than how many hands one uses whilst eating sandwiches.
Love living in Portland so I can always have Eventide close by. But all three looked amazing!
Lived in Boston my whole life and you picked the best as well as classic Boston roll. well done
the best compliment! 🙏🏼🙏🏼

hahaha thanks!
Row 34 warm brown butter style - probably best in Boston. Neptune's is right up there, too.

That's good audio & authenticity

There’s nothing lamer than watching someone eat a lobster roll with one hand…who even does that? Weak.
what are you even talking about?
